Chapter 4-

I woke up with my face on the keyboard. I looked up at my clock and saw it was 11:00am.

“Oh my gosh!...W...What happened last night?” I asked myself. “I…I need to find a job today!” I lugged myself out of bed and into the shower then into my cloths and makeup. I walked out into the crisp air and started walking down the sidewalk towards the big buildings. Looking in each window glazing threw to see what was going on. I also looked if they need any help. I went in and out and in and out asking if they wanted me to help them. I needed a job…DESPREATLEY! I want to move here with Max. Out of my parents’ house. I know that my mom will be mad but I don’t care…nether does Max. We want to live here…Anywhere…Anywhere but my parents’ house and apart from each other. The cabin would be just a vacationing spot when we visited our parents. I kept looking and I saw a lot of the boys in windows and stores. One Direction has a lot of merchandise. Posters, mugs, party masks, clothing, bed sheets, pillows…etc. and cut outs. Oh my gosh they were everywhere! I guess I was in 1D town. All day I kept looking…hoping someone will take me for a job. I was done looking. I’m tired. I want to go back and search One Direction again. Maybe I’ll go get some lunch. I stopped in a little café named Lantana. I got a small cappuccino and a muffin. I just sat on my phone scrolling on twitter. Reading all of the funny tweet. Looking at the good pictures. And crying at the imagines. When I took a sip of my hot delicious cappuccino I spilt it on my lap. “Ohhh!” I squeaked as I tried to wipe it off of my white leggings and white knit dress. “Can I get some cold water and napkins please? Hurry too!” I said a little louder than I wanted. When the waitress came by I stood up and went to the bathroom with the water, napkins and my bag. I cleaned the stubborn stain as best as I could. I put soap and water on it and dabbed it all around with the napkins.  The stain was almost gone when I got a call from and unknown number. “Hello?”  “Hey baby! How are you?” said the unknown deep voice. “Umm…I’m sorry who is this?” I questioned the man on the other end of the call. “It’s Max. I have the right number yes?” “Oh! Hey Max yeah this is…Jodi. Your number didn’t show on my phone.” I kept itching at the tough stain. “That’s okay. Have you found a job yet?” “No…Not…ummm…yet.” I hesitated as I scrubbed at my stain that was out. “Sorry hun. I spilt some of my cappuccino on my white knit dress and leggings. I just got it out.” He laughed at me, thinking that it was cute what I had done. We talked for a while as it got late here. We talked about the song, but I didn’t tell him about my new obsession. It was dark when I left the café as I walked back to the hotel alone getting distracted by all the people and beautiful lights. When all of the sudden I fell. Hard!
