Chapter 31-

The next afternoon was really slow and clam. I was lying on my bed, watching some weird T.V show about duck calls or something, and Sabrina walked in. “Hey do you want to come shopping with me and the boys?”

I smuggled lower into the covers “No I don’t feel well today. But go ahead.”

“Are you sure?” she sounded concerned.

“Yeah I will be fine. It’s just my stomach.” With that she left and after a bit I heard the door close. I stepped out of my room and scoped out the apartment. No one was home. This will probably be my only opportunity to be alone and I can take my test. I went into my bag and found where I hid the box and went to the bathroom. As I waited to see the results, I thought what if I do have this baby? What will Harry say? I have to keep it. What will my life be like? I read the instructions on the box.

 Take off the protective and pee on the thin tab. Place the protective cap back on.

Done.

Wait 5 minutes and if a pink ‘+’ appears that it’s positive. If a blue’-‘appears it is negative, if its blank do another.

Okay only 2 more minutes to go. My heart was pounding and I could hear my heart beat in my ears. “Deep breaths Jodi deep breaths.” I told myself. After the painfully slow 2 minutes looked at the test stick. “A pink ‘+’ sign.” I said out loud. I went back to my room and laid on the bed. The thought hasn’t got through my head yet. I am carrying a baby. Not just a baby, my boyfriend, Harry Styles’ baby. At that moment Harry texted me.

Harry- Hey baby I will be home soon.

Me- How long?

Harry- 10 minutes

Me- Okay see you then. I love you xx drive safe.

Harry- I love you too

I hid the test back in my bag. I can’t tell Harry yet. I snuggled deep into my bed and pretended to sleep. The same weird duck show was still on. The all have weird long beards. Harry arrived all alone and he walked into my room. “Jodi?” he said softly pushing a few of my hair strands behind my ear.

I opened my eyes. “Hi.” I said in a small voice.

“You fellin’ okay?

“Yeah a lot better.” He walked out and a while later he returned with a tray of soup and crackers. We laid there for the rest of the day watching new T.V shows. At about 8 everyone else showed up. They all went to bed and Harry returned to his room. I woke up at about 2:40 when I heard the T.V in the living room turn on. I walked out and saw Zayn lying on the couch. “Hey.” I whispered.

“Jodi hey what’s up?” he sat up inviting me over to sit with him.

“I took the test today.” I sighed sitting next to him.

“And?” he said anxiously. I couldn’t find any words to say so I smiled and nodded. “Really?!”

“Yes.”

“How do you feel?”

“I really don’t know.” I want to be with Harry but I don’t need a baby but ai am not getting rid of it.

“Well good for you.” Zayn cooed.
