What Happened To me

Chapter 14

Chapter 14-

I heard the door creek open. I was in Harry’s room. I was sitting on the floor next to the bed. No I didn’t even have enough energy to make it onto the bed. Well I guess I wasn’t even sitting, I had my legs under me and I was bent over them, one of my hands was on my knee and the other was holding my mobile, and my head was resting on the floor with my face to the left. I felt so small so weak and fragile. I was sleeping. I had fallen asleep crying. Why? I couldn’t handle the thought of having two boyfriends. Wait… three. Niall. He had a little crush on me. Before I had drifted asleep I was on the phone with my best friend, Sabrina.

“Zayn!” I heard Harry yell. I didn’t flinch. Was too weak, and tired. I heard him run down the long hallway to the living room. Harry and Niall had gone golfing, Liam went to the supermarket because we were all out of food, and Louis went out with Eleanor,  leaving Zayn and I all alone all day. I could hear small muffled voices, then four feet running back into Harry’s room. I could barely hear them.

“What happened? What happened to Jodi Zayn?” Harry yelled at him.

“Dude calm down. I dono. She said she was going to take a nap, and then she went in here and closed the door” Zayn tried to calm Harry down but he only made it worse.

“Well what did she say before that? How long ago did she say she was going to nap?” Harry asked. I still didn’t move, I was too weak.

“I dono about an hour ago. She was just telling me about how her life is. I was just walking by and I heard her say goodbye to someone on the phone and she seemed upset, so we just talked. Well she mostly did but I listed well. She was telling me something about her boyfriend.”  Zayn ended and I could tell that Harry was getting jealous. Soon after I felt a cold wind on the palm of my hand and I noticed that my mobile was missing.

“Ello?” I heard Harry say into my phone. I couldn’t hear Sabrina answer, but I could tell that she was explaining what happens to me when I get upset.

“So what is happening right now? Wa- what should I do?” Harry asked my friend. He put her on speaker phone and knelt down next to me.

“What is she doing? What does she look…” Sabrina cut off. “Let me guess. She is on the floor, NEXT to the bed, hunched over her legs with her hands on her knees. Am I right?” She asked knowing she was.

“Eyeah…you are absolutely correct. But her eyes are closed. What should I do?

“I call this the ‘I’m done’ phase or more recognized as the ‘emotionally exhausted’ phase. Okay you don’t want to scare her. Just lightly put your hand on her back and rub small slow circles and softly say something cute.  Say good mornings to her.” Sabrina instructed Harry and he did exactly that.

“Hey baby good morning. Good morning sweat pea. How are you? How did you sleep? Jodi good morning.” I forced my eyes open. Finding Harry knelt by me rubbing my back slowly. I had my eyes semi open and I gave him a slight smile closing my eyes fully.

“Hum” I monad

“She is up. Thank you so much…” He was hinting for her name.

“Sabrina” we both said at the same time.

“D- do you want to talk to her?” Harry asked her taking her off of speaker phone. “Okay Sabrina thanks again and I’ll see you soon.” Harry hung up the phone and put it on the floor. His words replayed in my head ‘I’ll see you soon.’ Was she coming to see me? A few days ago I had gotten my cast off and I was so happy. No more bulk around my arm. Harry helped me onto his bed.

“So” he broke the silence “Boyfriend? You’ve got yourself a boyfriend?” He bumped my shoulder. All I could do was smile and let out a huff.
