“Let’s get out of here.” I sighed.

I was already unhappy with my surroundings. The idea of staying in a hospital any longer would drive me crazy.

“But they want you to stay here for another few days” Niall pointed out.

“I can’t stay here any longer, I need a drink!” I sighed.

I dragged myself out of the stone seat and grabbed the door to leave.

“Alright, but where the hell are we going to go?”

“Wherever the wind takes us!” I winked.

                                                                                           * * *

Five minutes later, Niall and I were sat comfortably in his Range Rover. Luckily, my mother had brought fresh clothes over the night before. The idea of sitting in my blood-stained dressed made me wince.

“Where are we going?” I asked, as I looked around at my surroundings.

I’d never actually been to a hospital in London, nothing of the settings was familiar. It was obvious that neither did Niall, as he constantly clicked buttons on the satnav sat in the palm of his hand.

I watched as a smile spread on his face, it was clear he’d found his destination.

“Earth to Niall? Yoo-hoo?” I called.

His forlorn face turned towards me, confusion gripping his features.

“Watch the road, silly billy! We don’t want to end up where we just came from!” I laughed.

His head turned back towards the road, as he took a roundabout. His finger beginning to drill on the steering wheel. I couldn’t help but smile at his face, his eyebrows were deeply furrowed, with his mouth slightly agape.

“I can see you, you know?” He called, his voice breaking into a laugh.

“I just can’t help it. You look so silly when you’re concentrating.” I teased.

“Hey!” He shouted, as he flailed his arm carelessly towards me, hitting me with an unintended thump on my injured arm.

I let out a gasp of shock.

“Oh, shit! Sorry!” He panicked, suddenly taking his eyes off the road.

I couldn’t actually feel any pain, well, I couldn’t feel anything, but it was best that I kept that a secret. The medication I was taking was obviously strong.

“I can’t believe you would do that to me…” I shockingly-sighed, as I couped my arm closer to me.
