I tiredly pulled away the blanket covering my body. The sling for my arm lay limply on the bedside locker. As I sat up, I pulled the sling around my neck and tucked my arm neatly in. I pushed myself off of the cosy bed and left the room. I yawned as I tottered along the warm wooden floors.

The sitting room was shining brightly from the sun leaking through the windows. I couldn’t help but feel slightly satisfied about the sun, not that I had anyone to appreciate it with.

Niall had left me the week before to join his best friends on tour. I couldn’t help but feel alone without him. I had to teach myself how to live with the use of one arm and the possibility that I may never use it again. My mother had also returned back home to my father, leaving me completely alone. I couldn’t blame Niall or my mother, they both had their own lives to lead like I should be leading mine.

My laptop lay lonely on the coffee table, waiting for the swipe of fingers along they keyboard. I pressed the stiff on button and it glimmered into life. As I waited for it to load up, I approached the kettle and pressed it down.

I moved back towards the sofa and made myself comfortable as I pulled the heavy laptop onto my lap. I checked my emails firstly, out of habit. I didn’t expect anything new to have changed, until I noticed the sudden increase in orders for my paintings.

I caught my breath in shock. What the hell was going on? It was very rare that I had one order, let alone at a glance, over ten. I stared in disbelief at my screen, as I scrolled through the pages of seemingly endless orders. I leapt off of the sofa and ran towards the corner of the room, grabbing the painted canvas and searching through them desperately. Hoping I wasn’t in a dream, I rushed back towards my laptop in search of an answer.

I began checking various social networking sites, which is where I found my answer. My twitter account followers had raised a substantial amount. There was a ceaseless amount of tweets towards my account too. Many read things like “Hope you get better soon!” among many other friendly messages, then there was quite a bit asking the question of who was I. I couldn’t help but ask the same question to myself.

I immediately swiped my fingers along the keyboard, making the same question appear on the screen. It read; “What is going on?”. Seconds later, a whoosh of replies came towards my way, with the link of a YouTube video. Sudden sparked interest by the video, I immediately clicked the link.

It was a very dark video, minus the shining bright lights on what appeared to be a stage. I heard several male voices first, amongst the screaming voices of what sounded like thousands of females. I instantly knew who this video was about, ignoring the obvious title.

“Right, lads. We want you to do us a favour!” Niall called into the microphone, as he suddenly appeared on the stage.

Next, a smiling Liam sprinted towards Niall, whilst holding a large object in his hand.

“In return for your favour, we will give you this!” Liam shouted into his microphone, as he held up a familiar portrait. It was the one I had painted for Niall.

“And maybe, there might be a small possibility we can get you four more, of the rest of the beautiful members!” A voice called from the other side of the stage, the blurry camera flipped towards a wild eyed Harry Styles.

“Let’s not forget, we will sign them all!” Louis shouted from beside Harry, as he held his hands high in the air.

“Hey, don’t promise them things we don’t know we can do.” Zayn laughed, suddenly appearing beside Louis and Harry.

“I’m sure if our lovely friend is watching, she won’t mind.” Harry nodded.

I heard very clear voices from whoever was holding the camera; “Who is she?
