Joe
I stood in the corner of the room. There were flashing lights and drunk people all around me but I only noticed one person. Summer. She looked beautiful in the short blue and grey dress. Shit, she always looked beautiful. Without even trying. She made her way to the wall next to my corner where I hid. Once she got there, she looked over at me.
"I saw you were lonely..." She smiled and stepped closer to me. I managed a smile. God it hurt so much. I wanted to scream. I wanted to break down and cry. I had lost her again. It's all my fault, again.
"Do you wanna dance?" She stepped a little closer. She smelt like vanilla, her favorite flavor of ice cream.
"Uh, sure." I shrugged as she grabbed my hand and pulled my out to the center of the room. She turned around to face me and put her arms around my neck, swaying her hips slowly side to side. I linked my hands together around her waist and swayed with her.
"I love you."
