"Joe...." I said, my void barely audible.
"Yea?" He leant over. I was lying in the hospital on a bed... I called it my death bed.
"Remember when Zoe filmed us singing?" He nodded. "I want to watch it."
"Okay. I love you." He grabbed his laptop and clicked on the video from so long ago.
"Don't wait for the world to be ready." We sang in the video as I closed my eyes and whispered, "I love you, Joe." I drifted off into a sleep that I would never wake up from.

Joe"No!" I screamed. "It isn't fair! It should have been me!"
"Sir. I'm really sorry but I'm going to have to ask you to leave." A doctor said calmly.
"It should have been me...." I whispered as I was dragged out of the hospital.
"Where is mummy?" Little Zoe said as I slumped in Zalfie's car.
"You won't see her for a very long time." My eyes started to water.
"Is she in heaven?" Connor asked.
"Yes, sweetie. She is." I nodded as a tear slipped down my cheek. "She loves you both very much. Always remember that."
"I love mummy very much. I always will." Little Zoe nodded.
