Cadence POV
I was walking home from school when I saw a moving van in front of my house. I jogged to the house and busted in.
"Mom what's happening " I asked panicked
"Hun we are moving to LA...........tonight" she said like nothing was a problem.
"WHAT????!?!!!! " I screamed and ran to my room. I slammed my door and cryed. I've lived in Georgia all my life and suddenly where moving to California?!! I'm so angry and sad. I started to pack all my stuff and then texted all my friends from school. I was half way threw packing then I left to go to Starbucks with my group of friends. Oh btw all my friends are guys. I have never been good with other friends that are girls I get along WAY better with guys. In our group I'm basically one of the guys. I'm one of the strongest and some know not to get me mad. Even tho I'm treated like one of the guys, they still treat me like a lady which is nice . I got to Starbucks and I was the first one here everyone had already texted that they were on there way. I out my head in my arms on the table and started to cry alittle. I heard the door open and I shot up and wiped my eyes. I saw Joshua and James and ty walk in. I started to cry alittle more because they were the bestest friends if mine I hang out with them the most and talk and do everything with them the most. James is a year and a half younger than me and ty Is a couple months younger. I don't know about josh because he never says his age but he is in my grade.
"Hey gurl" ty said
"Hey ty" I sayed with a faint smile
"What's wring stuiped " josh said. He always calls me stuiped idk it his name for me. I playfully hit his head and we all laughed. Later the rest of the guys showed up.
"So why did you want to meet up "
"I have news I need to tell you guys and it bad news like bad news" I said emphasizing the word 'bad'
"I wanna take you to the spot to tell you" I said with a faint smile.
They all smiled and we left
About 5 to 10 mintues later we arrived at the spot. The spot is a cliff that we hang out at and nobody knows about it or goes here. I sat down at let my legs hang off.
"So what's wrong " Joshua asked
I sighed and started to tear up
"Oh come on it's not like your moving " I gasped alittle and put my head in my hands and stRted crying
"Oh my gosh " they all said
"It's not my choice I came home today and saw a moving truck at my house then I asked my mom and she said were moving to ...... LA" I said
We talked more about me moving when I got a text from my mom telling me to finish packing and we need to leave in 3 hours
"guys I have to go" I sqeuked
We all hugged individually then in a group I waved at all of them and started walking I stopped and turned around to get once last look. I smiled and then turned back around shqking my botty alittle more than normal because some of the boys like me. I'm gonna miss these guys so much
*skip to after plane ride and there in LA*
We just arrived in LA and I haven't said a thing to my mom or brother or dad at all since we got in the plane. We arrived at our house and It was big.i went inside and found the biggest room and claimed it beofre my brother did . I started to bring my stuff in the room and I put my bed up by my self. I made my bed and clime bed in it and soon fell asleep. I just wanna go home.

*the next morning*
I woke up and finished my bedroom off. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon when I relized I was hungry. I grabbed my penny board and left for Starbucks nobody was home so I locked the house up. I rode all the way to Starbucks that was a bout 10 mintues away. I got there and there was a screaming mob of girls surrounding people but I couldn't see who I just rolled my eyes and got off my penny board and went into Starbucks. I got a cotton candy frapp. I walked out of Starbucks texting my friends when I saw the crowd was dieing down. I looked to the grass part alittle ways and saw some big guy bullying a guy smaller than me and I'm pretty small. When I see bullying I will do anything to stop it. The dude star tipped to hit the boy and. I dropped my stuff and ran over to them yelling
"STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP" I yelled I pushed the dude off of the boy and stood infront of the boy and protected him.
"Stay out of this little girl"
"no I will not what gives you the right to hit a kid that twice your size "
"Oh shut up! What does this have to do with you?"
"Your hitting another kid" I yelled
"If you wanna hurt him, you gotta get threw me " I said angry. I saw a crowd around us and the dude raised his fist.
"Don't make me - I cut him off
"Do it, I dare you " I scoffed
He threw his punched and I grabbed his wrist and twisted it and flipped the dude of the ground.
I crossed my arms and walked over to him and out my foot on him
"That was a mistake. Don't make it again" I started to walk away and everyone clapped. Suddenly I was jerked back.
"HEY" I screamed
I saw it was the guy and he suddenly slapped me I held my cheek and stumbled backwards
"LET ME GO I screamed
Suddenly I saw two guys come up
"She said let her go man " the medium guy said
The dude soon stopped and faced me
"Whatch yourself little girl " he said
I scoffed and faced the boys who helped me
"Thank you guys"
"Anytime what's your name"
"Cadence " I held out my hand
They guys looked alittle confused
the shook my hand
"I'm Chris " the taller one said
"I'm Crawford " the medium said
"Why do y'all look confused" I said. It came out mor country than intended but hey I can't help it .
"Country girl? " Chris said
"You can say that " I chuckled making them chuckle too.
"So why are y'all confused "
"Oh just cuz a lot of girls know us and we didn't know that u didn't "
"How do a lot of girls know you
I looked closer at them
"Oh wait y'all do look a tad bit fimilar
"Vine and youtube " Chris said
"Ooohhhhh" I said
"Can we have your number maybe we can all three hang out soon " Crawford said I handed them my phone and they gave me their numbers and took mine.
"See ya later"
"Bye "
I penny boarded back home and layed on my bed and texted the group and talked about our days. It was about 7:30 at night so I went to the street and started to run. I was listening to my music when I saw
"Chris, Crawford hey" I stopped running
"Oh hey what's up"
"Nothing just running " I sayed alittle out of breath.
"Alright well see ya later " Crawford said held up his hand for a high five. I chuckled and high fives him and Chris and started to run again
"Where you going its getting late you could get hurt" Crawford yelled at me I turned around and run backwards
"I think I can handle myself " I yelled back and started to run again. It was almost dark out so I sprinted home. When I got home I walked the house without talking to my parents. I explored the house I found a lot of cool rooms.i went down to the basment because that's where my room is and walked down the hall to the extra room that's in there I opened the door and my mouth fell to the floor. A dance studio!!!!!! I know how to dance and I can't resist not dancing so why not? I turned on some hype music and started to dance. I dancemy routine to the song like a boy. After my damce session I went to my bathroom and showerd and climbed in my bed. I noticed I had text on my phone. I had 1 from Crawford and 1 from ty
I responded to them and soon fell asleep. This move is killing me but Imma try to make the best of it
