*Meredith's POV*

I grab my sweatshirt and dart out of the house. I am trying to squeeze in a jog before it gets to dark outside. Tomorrow is our last day here before we leave for Comic Con, and I still need to tell my mom.

I sprint to the stop sign at the end of our street and turn left. I turn on my music. "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran is playing.

Loving can hurt
Loving can hurt some times
But it's the only thing that I know.

When it gets hard
You know it can get hard sometimes.
It is the only thing that makes us feel alive.

We keep this love in a photograph.
We make these memories for ourself
Where our eyes are never closed,
Our hearts are never broken,
Time's forever frozen, still.

And you can keep me inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me closer till our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
Wait for me to come home

Loving can heal
Loving can mend your soul
And it's the only thing that I know

I swear it will get easier
Remember that with every piece of you
And it's the only thing we take with us when we die.

We keep this love in a photograph
We make these memories for ourself
Where our eyes are never closed
Hearts are never broken
Time's forever frozen, still

So you can keep me inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me closer till our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone

And if you hurt me, that's okay baby only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
I won't ever let you go
Wait for me to come home

Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home
Wait for me to come home

You can fit me inside the necklace you got when you were sixteen
Next to your heartbeat where I should be
Keep it deep within your soul

And if you hurt me, well that's okay baby only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
I won't ever let you go

When I'm away
I will remember how you kissed me
Under the lamp-post back at sixth street
Hearing you whisper through the phone
Wait for me to come home

I get back to the house after one more song.

When I go inside I see that Meghan has moved her suitcase and things downstairs, and placed them in the foyer. I get a glass of ice water. I bring the drink to my room, and set it down on my desk.

I bring my suitcase next to Meghan's, and then go to her room.

"Hey," I say to Meghan, walking into her room.

"Hey," she says looking up from her iphone6. "What's up?" She asks me.

"Nothing, just seeing where you were," I answer shrugging.

"Oh, well, would you mind helping me finish pack?" She asks me.

"Sure," I agree.

For the next hour I help Meghan pack all the little things around the house that we will need for a roadtrip. When we are finished we bring the bags to our Kia Soul.

We load up the car so it is ready for the trip. We decided to get ready today, so we can rest tomorrow.

After the car is loaded I go to the back patio and call my mom.

Ring Ring Ring Ri-

"Hello?" My mom answers the phone.
"Hi, Mom?" I ask.
"Oh, hi Meredith," she says.
"I just wanted to call real quick to tell you that we are leaving in two days so we can have a little roadtrip on the way to Comic Con," I say, not knowing how she will respond.
"Oh, really?" She asks me.
"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you before I am too busy," I answer her.
"Well, Meredith, you have to be super careful!" She tells me.
"We will be, Mom," I assure her.
"Okay, sweetie. I love you, call me when you have a chance," my mom says.
"Okay, love you too. Bye," I reply.
"Bye," my mom says hanging up.

I go back to my room and plug my iphone5 into its charger. I go to my dresser and pull out some sweats and a t-shirt. Then, I go downstairs and turn on the TV. I pop in the movie The Amazing Spiderman. Shortly after it starts, I fall asleep.
