"Good luck, Kuya!" Ofreigha teased, trying to hide her grin.

Outside the two storey apartment, Marie Duke entering in the black car.

Her father, Damian Duke, on the driver's seat, visibly nervous.

"Relax, Dad," Marie said, flipping her hair dramatically.
"I'm the protagonist here. Main characters don't lose."

Damian just sighed.

When the car stopped in front of Wayne Academy's massive gates, Marie stepped out, bag slung over her shoulder, strutting like she owned the place.

"Good morning, Miss Duke," stammered a guide.
"Orientation's in the Grand Hall."

Marie winked.

"Thanks, sweetheart. Oh, and don't get lost - I wouldn't want to break your heart this early."

Mission one: Leave an impression. ✅

Inside the hall, she spotted her target - Miexha, clutching a book, looking calm as ever.
Marie's lips curved.

"Bingo. Target spotted."

"Hi!" she greeted, voice sugary-sweet.

Miexha sighed.
"Marie, please. Not today."

"I didn't even say anything yet!" Marie laughed.
"But seriously, I can already tell... this year's going to be fun."

"Excited, huh?" Miexha smiled shyly.

Marie leaned closer. "For the romance, obviously."

"Marieeee-"

"Relax, I'm teasing! But come on, darling-this is Wayne Academy. There's always drama. And with me here? Expect extra."
