To the Beach!

--Levy's POV--

I was laying in bed when I realized there was a large muscular arm draped around my waist and a snoring iron dragon right next to me. He's so cute when he sleeps. I whisper in his ear trying not to get him mad at me and say, "you smell that. There making bacon. Ill be downstairs when your ready to join me." He smile and as I try to move off the bed his arm pulled me close to him and he kissed my head. Wait.. WHAT?!?! I never knew Gajeel, the big tough guy, could actually do something sweet.

"Good morning, Shrimp." He let his grip loss so I could go. I walk out the door blushing like mad.

"Are you okay Levy! You look a little pink! Do you need healing." the small air dragon slayer said with concern. She was so adorable and nice. I smiled at her, "No, i'm just a little tired its okay." I said waving my hands in front of my face. We walked to the kitchen together and I decided not to tell anyone about what happen so I just sat down looking at my fingers. Little did I know I causing much more attention then I wanted.

"Levy-chan whats wrong." People were walking up to me staring at me. I had to make a lie.

"Your blushing."

"And you look like your holding back a smile."

People kept questioning left and right. I got up and said, "I fell out of bed this morning. Its no big deal really. It was just funny,I guess." 'Wow Levy! That was the best lie you could think of.' But everyone seemed to by it and went back to what they were doing. Everyone started coming down to eat and Mira got to the end of the table to talk. "What do we all wanna do today." Mira asked smiling. We all looked over at each other and someone suggested beach. Yes!!! I love the beach. Its calming waves and happy people. I was smiling like a little girl that just got a doll. "Well alright ,you already know your pairing so everyone go get changed." We all went to our room. I went into the bathroom and Gajeel stayed in the bedroom. When I finished changing I knock on the door slightly. "You done out there."

"Yep." He said and I walked out. I was wearing my orange bikini with a blue cover up over it. Gajeel wore a black T-shirt with grey swim trunks. "Shall we." I said smiling and I could see a little smile grow on his face. We walked out and everyone one ready to leave. We walked out the door and down to the lobby. Then we saw him again. Eric. He was okay to look at but I could tell the boys didn't like him. Gajeel stayed right by my side the whole time making sure Eric didn't come up to me and kiss my hand or speak to me. He was acting so weird. Then I looked over at Natsu. He was pissed. He kept giving Eric bad looks when he was talking to Lucy. "So are you all going to the beach." He said with his charming smile looking at Lucy. He better not touch her, I'll help Natsu break every bone in his body. "Yea. Do you wanna come, Eric." She said smiling. He agreed and walked with Lucy the whole time till they got there. Mira and Natsu were pouting behind everyone and I was just making sure he didn't make a wrong move. Am I a good best friend or what.

--Time Lap at the beach: Now Gajeel's POV--

I made sure he didn't go near my Shrimp. If he did i'd pound his face into a wall. I hated his dumb smile, his dumb tan, his dumb hair, I hated him in general. I could tell Levy wasn't fond of him either. "I can't believe Lucy is really freaking falling for his charm. Where's Natsu?" Levy said looking around. "You really don't like him eh, Pipsqueak." I said smiling not making eye contact at her, even though I just wanted to look at her. she looked but up and me and puffed her cheeks out. she was so adorable sometime. I grabbed her hand and began to walk with her on the beach. I didn't like it that much but she loved it. "Hey Gajeel, why'd you kiss me on the forehead this morning. I'm not complaining I just wanted to know if there was a reason." She looked down smiling and blushing. I couldn't find the right words. I just kissed her because it felt right.

"Well you always seemed to be grumpy if you don't have a good morning so I figured maybe you would feel better if I kissed you. Sorry." I looked away from her so she didn't see me blush. I could feel the heat coming onto my cheeks. Then, she stood on her tip toes and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled and grabbed her hand again and intertwined them together. We walked all down the beach together, holding hands,smiling. I loved being with her.

When we got to a part on the beach where there was barley any people, I turned her so that she was in front of me and I looked her in the eyes. I may not be romantic but with Levy I felt so happy. She looked at my kinda worried and said,"Gajeel, I-I..." I cut her off and kissed her right on the lips. She was tense at first but melted into my kiss. After I put my arm around her and began walking back towards the group. "I like you too Pipsqueak." She smile the whole way back. Both of us blushing darker then Erza's hair. But what I didn't tell her was that I didn't like her....
