*Hailey's POV*
I was blinking in thought. "Umm, well were kind of...I don't know what we are."The girl was about to speak when SQUEEE, The girl started to scream as Hayes walked up behind me. She ran up to Hayes and started taking selfies and videos. I turned around heading toward the breakfast area not thinking much of anything. I mean, after all she was just a fan and Hayes was famous. I had to get used to this. I turned back around hoping she was gone. My jaw dropped and I started to cry. To my disbelief, that one girl was making out with Hayes and he wasn't resisting at all. He finally caught my gaze and, realizing it was me, his eyes widened! He pushed the girl away trying to make his way towards me as fast as he could. Hayes shouted "Hailey it's not...."
Before he could finish his sentence he was engulfed in a growing swarm of teenage girls. I wanted to help him, I really did, but Hayes didn't seem any different than before. He was flirting, smiling, and talking with all the girls just like nothing happened. Like his girlf...I wasn't there at all. My heart broke in two and I ran full speed ahead toward the elevator with my face in my hands and tears streaming down my face. I got into the elevator trying to consume myself, but instead dropped to my knees. I knew everything was too good to be true. The Hayes Grier would never fall in love with some normal girl like me, I couldn't believe I thought things would be different. I got to my floor and got into the room and went to the bathroom closing to door unnoticed. My parents were still talking to Ally.
My phone began to buzz and I pulled it out only to realize it was from Hayes.
Hayes: Hailey, I'm so sorry. It's not what it looked like I promise. She kissed me! Please respond. I think we need to talk.
I put my phone down and carefully placed my hands on the bathroom counter. I tried thinking through everything and decided that maybe, just maybe I should talk to him.
Hailey:alright, I will talk to you, but it better be good. Meet me downstairs by the elevator at 1:00 PM
I immediately got a response from Hayes.
Hayes:alright see you then
*Hayes POV*
I was so glad Hailey finally agreed to talk with me. I was so nervous thinking that Hailey was never going to forgive me, and that she was going to tell her sister and....Her sister oh no! What if she told her sister about everything.
I looked over in the direction of the elevator considering it was almost 1:00 and my eyes quickly grew! Hailey's sister was walking this way full speed with a stern look on her face. I knew right then and there that my life was in danger and I may not see tomorrow. I shrunk toward the ground, it seemed, and became stuck in my position. I almost couldn't move out of my fear and Ally got closer.
(A/N: sorry about the short chapter again I'm sorry. Keep reading and the capers will get longer! I love you guys so much. You always make me smile)
