Just a Normal Girl

Chapter 6

(A/N sorry this chapter is kind of slow moving, if you don't want to read about the dinner you could just skip to Hayes' POV. Love you all, keep on reading!)
Bella's POV*
I saw the car pull up and strained my eyes to look inside and see if it was Hailey, because they should be here by now. I finally got a clear image and you wouldn't believe it! It was Hailey my BFFL!!!! I had this ginormous smile and waved like a maniac. I was so happy to see Hailey. She got out of the car and her eyes were red and puffy, I knew she was crying. I instantly became mad because I was supposed to tell her the news, not her parents,but whatever. I ran over to her and gave her a huge bear hug and then she cried again, and I started to cry. Then in that moment we both just started laughing uncontrollably. I knew that she was my best friend forever and always even after I move.

*Hailey's POV*
I got out of the car trying to make it seem like I never cried. I landed on the ground and saw Bella running full throttle towards me. I ran to her and we both gave each other a huge hug. I soon realized that by summer I will barely see her again so the crying began once more. I think Bella thought that also because she started to cry too. In that moment, though, we both just started to laugh. I really don't know why, but that's why we're friends! We laughed in that spot for probably 5 minutes until I heard a familiar voice, my mom.
"ITS 5:58 HURRY INSIDE IT'S ALMOST 6:00!" Said my mom. So we all ran inside and got there at exactly 6:00!

The lady seemed concerned as to how out of breath we were, but she said "7?" My mom nodded "right this way." She sat us us down and told us our server was on his way.

I made a statement as to how nice this place was and then the server came. He looked around my sisters age and made eye contact with her immediately. I gave my sister a wink and said "someone has a crush.." She just rollers her eyes and told me to shut up. I looked at the menu and couldn't make up my mind everything sounded amazing. I saw a server bring out food to the table next to us and my jaw dropped as I saw the size of the meal. It was HUGE! I turned to Bella and instantly asked if she wanted to share something. She seemed really scared and said yes! We both laughed once more.

*Bella's POV*
I walk into he restaurant and marveled at how fancy it was. I quickly look down at my outfit and feel way underdressed, but oh well I just let it go. I sit down and then the server comes and makes eye contact with Ally. I give Hailey a look of approval and then she gives Riley a wink, but she's not amused, she tells Hailey to shut up. I asked her why Riley said shut up and then I laugh at the fact she had a Boyfriend. I didn't know that, and I don't think the waiter does either. I look at the menu and can't decide. Then I look around to see what other people eating there got and I see a plate brought to the table next to us and freak out over the size ITS HUGE! I swear it was going to eat me alive. Hailey asks if I want to share something with her and with the thought of it eating me I said yes. My voice cracked and we just laughed. The server comes over and asks what we want to drink and of course Hailey and I get the same thing LEMONADE! the server comes back with the drinks and they look like something you'd see at a VIP red carpet party. He begins to ask everyone what they want and of course, he tries to flirt with Riley. During that time I ask Hailey what we're actually ordering and she told me to not worry, she's got it.
*Hailey's POV*
The server come to ask for drinks and Bella and I get the same thing as usual because that's just what we do. He comes back with the drinks and then gets our order and he gets Riley first and tries to flirt with her and she doesn't notice at all. She is so naive towards it. Bella leans over and asks what we were actually getting, but I tell her "I got it" he turns towards me and I say "we will share a Fettuccine Alfredo." I said it with so much confidence and I'm proud.
The server, Hunter, said "I will get that right in for you guys." Then he winks at Ally.
The rest of the time Bella and I are just talking and messing around. Then suddenly my phone starts going off like crazy I get all these notifications from Vine. I gained over 500 followers and then I checked my feed and saw the video I helped the guys make earlier today. I forgot I got video credit, Nash tagged me in the caption. A smile lit up my face as I remembered everything that happened today, man I was so lucky. Most normal girls never get to experience this. Bella looked down at my phone and asked what happened and then I told her. I told her about all the followers and everything that happened today. She said how cool it was but didn't go fangirl crazy because she didn't really follow all the guys. I turned off my vine notifications and then my phone. Bella and I talked some more and the food came. We all ate in silence, until we all finished. I never wanted the food to end because it was the best Italian food ever. The server came back again to collect out plates and give our dad's the checks. Once he came back to collect the checks he gave each of us a piece of candy, a chocolaty mint candy. On Ally's though, he put his number and her face turned beet red. After the dinner we all walked around town a little bit then we had to go. I was so sad to have to say buy to Bella, but I would see her once I went back to school. I had such a great time then I took out my phone and saw the number. I totally forgot I had Hayes' number. I texted him ASAP!
*Hayes' POV*
I sat in the hotel room stalking Hailey's vine because I was bored. Seeing her just be herself was so amazing I liked her even more. I thought about the fact I gave her my number and was kind of sad she never texted me. I gave up on waiting for a text knowing she'd probably never text me because I don't think she liked me all that much. The crazy thing was in that instance I got a text from some random person. HAIELY! I was so happy, a huge grin crossed my face! I texted back as quickly as possible.
Hailey: Hey!
Hayes: hey :)
Hailey: sorry I didn't text you until now I was at dinner
Hayes: dinner, yum! Where did you go?!
Hailey: we went to the Perch!
Hayes: THR PERCH?! I only went there once and it was the bet thing ever!!
Hailey: yea it was so amazing!! :)
Hayes: so was it a special occasion?
Hailey: yea actually, we went there as a surprise so I could sort of go on vacation with my friend because we were supposed to go on one after she promoted from 8th grade, but she is moving sooner (this summer) so I found out about that tonight
Hayes: oh, I'm so sorry :(
Hailey: it's ok I probably didn't need to tell you that.
Hayes: where is she moving?
Hailey: North Carolina. Which is so far from AZ :*(
Hayes: that's where I live!!
Hailey: that's so cool!
Hayes: yea
Hailey: so could we talk about something else because I'm about to cry. I'm so sorry I just.. I'm gonna miss her so much.
Hayes: yea definitely! I'm so sorry! I feel really bad. So want to play 20 questions?
Really Hayes! You should not have said that she's crying now all because of you! And look, she hasn't responded! I told myself. I feel like a jerk. I really like her and I just pushed her away just like that. I hope she responds I really hope she does. I laid there staring at my phone feeling so guilty. Then my eyes eventually got heavy and I fell asleep.
