Chapter 20

*Hayes' POV*
"NEVER SPEAK OF HER AGAIN" shouted Nash!

"Fine! But I think I deserve better advice" I spoke sternly! Knowing that I needed more than 'don't be with her!' I knew for a fact there could be more I could do to insure my physical safety and Hailey's mental safety.

After about ten minutes of silence Nash finally spoke up "Alright, here is the best advice I can offer you Hayes! You just need to take a deep breath and listen to your heart. Treat her like a princess no more no less. Try your absolute best to make her happy, but don't make things weird and let her always get her way show your strong as well. I learned the hard way. Just don't let her see you kiss another girl and before another ex or even a fan comes around talk to Hailey about it and inform her that you have fans and they can be...interesting. The main thing I'm trying to get across is just be truthful and don't keep secrets."

I watched as Nash walked away knowing he was hurt but gave him a reassuring smile. I called him back and said "Thanks Nash! I really needed this. I'm so sorry I reminded you of... You know who. Please forgive me."

Nash nodded his head as we gave each other bro hugs and departed from one another. I looked at my phone and saw that it said 9:45. I smiled knowing that the park closed at 9:00 and I could now text Hailey! I whipped out my phone and texted Hailey as soon as possible.
Hayes: hey Hailey!
Hailey: hey! Are you feeling any better?
Hayes: yea I feel so much better 😊 I think I just needed some rest.
Hailey: well that's good to know 😊😘
Hayes: so how was the rest of the time at Six Flags?!
Hailey: it was actually tons of fun! Except right after you left Ally was acting like a jerk 😕 I did, though, finally get her to soften up!
Hayes: oh no I'm sorry! At least she softened up!
Hailey: yea! Well I have to go 😢 my family and I are heading out for some ice cream, and then I'm going to bed 'cause I'm really tired! 😴 I'll talk to you tomorrow
Hayes: okay! Goodnight ILY 😘

Three seconds after I sent that text I panicked realizing I just said I love you to Hailey! I continuously checked my phone hoping for a response and crossing my fingers in hopes Hailey didn't think of me as a total freak!
I waited nervously for some response. I was about to ask Nash If I screwed things up with her until I was relieved to get a text 15 Minutes later.

Hailey: ILY2 😘😘

A smile snuck onto my face as I realized Hailey wasn't creeped out! Nash gave me a weird look and my smile hesitantly snuck away. I was starting to believe she actually liked me too!
