Just a Normal Girl

Chapter 24

*HAYES' POV*
I looked at Hailey and saw a smirk slowly appear on her face. I made a confused expression and saw her wink and nod her head toward Ally switching between Cameron and Nash. I made and over exaggerated OH! expression. She motioned for me to walk towards her away from her sister. "Hayes" she said "I'm sorry I overreacted about earlier. I kind of forgot you were this big shot celebrity with a lot of crazy fans. You don't have to explain anything to me. I completely trust you and if you say it wasn't anything I need to respect that." She kept rambling on and on about how she was sorry until I finally gave in and kissed her to make her shut up, because I know she was sorry. We held the Kiss for about 30 seconds and then we pulled away to a bunch of ohhh's and awww's courtesy of Nash, Cameron, Jack and Jack, and Matt. I rolled my eyes at them and Hailey and I walked off. I felt so bad cause poor Hailey's cheeks were bright red against her porcelain skin. I grabbed her hand and we walked off toward the elevator. It was so great just standing there in silence with one of the few people who made me unbelievably happy.

*Hailey's POV*
Hayes just kissed me! I was speechless finally processing the fact he just kissed me! The whole ride up the elevator was silence and even though it was kind of awkward at first, sometimes silence is even better than talking. We made it to our destination and we headed back to him and Nash's bedroom to just watch movies the rest of the day. It was so great to be in his company. Not only that, but we took some time to just talk and get to know each other even more. It was crazy when I finally realized that I've never really just talked to Hayes and got to know him as a person. It was already 3:00 and Nash still hadn't returned which was kind of strange, but we didn't think much of it. By the time 4:30 rolled around my eyes had grown extremely heavy and soon enough sleep engulfed me.
*Hayes' POV*
After Hailey and I had talked for a while we put on a movie called the Labyrinth. I guess talking can really tire a person out because Hailey almost immediately fell asleep on my shoulder. Once I realized she was no longer awake I turned to wake her, but just couldn't. She looked so peaceful and safe laying there on my shoulder. I couldn't help but form a slight smile on my face. Finally things were going great and she didn't seem mad anymore. I did, though, begin to grow fearful for Nash still had not returned or even check in with me, he didn't even respond to my texts. I finally resulted in calling him. No answer. My heart sunk. I tried texting Matt and Cam. There was no response and I grew even more fearful. I went back and fourth between either waking Hailey up or just figuring this out in my own. After many contiplations I chose to wake up Hailey. I slowly shook her awake and she had the cutest grin on her face. It slowly disappeared when she saw the pained expression on my face.
*Hailey's POV*
I was shaken awake by Hayes who seemed concerned. I felt so bad for him. What was wrong? "Hayes are you alright?" I calmly stated.

"I'm really not, Nash hasn't checked in and he's not responding to any of my texts or calls. I even texted Cameroon and Matthew, no response from either."

My heart sunk. I didn't know Hayes cared that much about his brother not checking in. "Okay Hayes, so I saw they were with Ally I will text her and ask if she knows where they went." Hayes' face seemed slightly relieved as he agreed. I quickly pulled out my phone and texted Ally asking where she was. I waited 10 minutes and got no response. I then tried to call her, but no answer. I began to panic because Ally always responds to me or at least tells me where she is going to be. "Hayes, Ally isn't responding either, what should we do?!"

"Oh, Hailey, aren't your parents here?"

My face lit up! "Oh my gosh! Your right. I completely forgot! Let's go ask them." A smile had returned to my face as I pulled out my hotel key and opened the door. "Mom, Dad I have a question" no answer "mom dad?" I walked farther into the room checking everywhere and found no sign of them. "Hayes, my parents aren't here!" I began to cry hiding my face.

"Hey I found something sitting on the table. It's a note from your parents. It says
'Hailey and Ally, your dad and I went out on the town to get some dinner and go see a movie. Here is some money to go get food. Ally, take your sister to get something to eat. We'll see you guys later
-Love mom'

My face showed a somewhat relieved expression, but I still didn't know where Ally was. "Well, I mean we could go get something to eat and leave some money here for Ally with a note or...WAIT! I just got a text
Ally: I'm so sorry I didn't respond to you earlier I'm out with some friends. We were at a movie and Nash broke his phone. We are getting dinner right now, we should be home by 10:30 at the latest.

"Well, apparently they are getting dinner. So I guess this money is all ours where do you want to go Hayes?"

I got no response. I called his name 5 times before he finally responded. "Earth to Hayes. Are you alright?"

"Oh yea sorry. It's just there are so many girls standing around outside. I thought they didn't know our location. We can't leave with all them out there we'll get ambushed."

"One word. Disguises. I know it's really cheesy, but it's our best bet because I'm STARVING!"

Hayes looked at me with this devious smile and off we went creating our disguises. Now, I didn't have to disguise myself that much because, well nobody knows who I am. After all, I'm just a normal girl from sunny Arizona. I just put on more makeup than usual to look older and Hayes took one of my dad's shirts and we got some of my moms eyeshadow and made it look like he had aftershave. I thought they were pretty good. So we both slowly walked out as our destiny awaited us. I had butterflies in my stomach hoping nobody noticed him. We walked out of the hotel's lobby as a bunch of screams started and then died off. We were safe, finally, at least for now.

And also, some parts of this chapter required italics /texts and letter/ but my italics isn't working currently so please excuse that. I will post another chapter soon. Much sooner than last time.
