CHAPTER THREE

Ryan Esteban.

Naglalakad siya papunta samin. I almost smiled because...I don't know. He's tall and his eyes, kahit malayo, sobrang strong nung features nya na yun. Kahit mejo malayo siya, nakikita ko pa rin, and I might be drooling right now, but I don't care.

 Why do we have to end Ryan? Why do good things always have to fall apart?

 "How do I look? Guys How do I look?!” I asked them in a nervous yet excited tone. Napakunot yung noo ni Serena and Blake stared at me in disbelief.

"What?!" I asked them. Masama bang magtanong kung anong hitsura ko?!

I haven't seen him in months...months! and I..I..I was -dumped by him! God what was I thinking?! Dapat wala na siyang epekto sakin! arrgh! Ava ang bobo mo!

 "Hello. Nice party Ser!." he said coolly, as if nothing happened between us. Serena just stood there and half smiled at him.

 Tapos biglang may lumapit na babae sa kanya. "Your friends?" She asked him. I unconsciously stared at her. She’s really pretty. She look like a model and her hair is just so perfect. Why does she even exist?!

 "Yeah. Uh, Kara this is Serena, siya yung nagpplan ng event, this is Blake...and this ..is Ava." He said. Looking into my eyes. "Guys..uhm this Kara...my girl--"

Then I looked down. Bakit ba kelangan kong marinig to?

"Girlfriend! Of course" Serena said in a rude tone. Serena what are you doing? "Hindi namin nakalimutan Ryan." She said then rolled her eyes at them and walked away to get more drinks.

 "Don't mind her, madami na nainom e" Blake interrupted. Bakit ba parang hindi siya nagpapanic? Bwisit tong lalaking to.

 "Ah..o-okay. Look. Hindi naman ako pupunta if-- if-- you know" he said looking at me.

 If what Ryan? If hindi pa ko okay? If hindi pa ko nakakamove on? Feeling mo ba nakamove on ako sa 2 years within 6 months?! Call me weak but i think.... I think...

"No. Okay lang talaga. Okay na naman tong si Ava. Actually she's dating someone." Then humarap sakin si Blake,  "Come on Ava. Don't be shy. Tell us about him!" He said, sounding excited.

"Really? That's n-nice! Wow." Ryan looked really confused but he tried to hide it. E pano ba naman hindi malilito tong taong to...

"Ryan? Ryan? Hello? Uhm...Si.Si Ava to. Look. You're a jerk! And..well...I-I..miss you. so much. I still..I think I still love y--"

 Okay. Mejo napadami inom ko last week nung nag girls night out kami. And well, the next thing I know, I'm speaking to him, tapos inagaw na sakin ni Serena yung cellphone ko and...nagsuka na ko. Pano ako nakauwi sa bahay? hindi ko na din alam.

God. O_O. Sobrang nahihiya na ko! Bat ko ba kasi yun ginawa! Sobrang awkward tuloy! I tried not to look at Ryan para hindi niya makita yung mukha ko. This is so embarassing.

Blake Montaner! Anong pinagsasasabi mo! I really feel nervous right now because first of all, hindi ako magaling magsinungaling and second, wala akong dindate!

How am I supposed to tell a lie without going over the details first! Damn you Blake. I looked at him to tell him that I can't do this but he shot me his do-or-die look.

"Uhm..Y-Yeah. He's a nice guy." Yun lang nasabi ko. Ano ba yan Ava!

"Oh. Nice. Kelan mo siya nameet?" Ryan asked.

"Uh, Last uhm, sunday. Pinakilala siya sakin ni Blake." I said trying to sound casual. Go Ava. You can do this, stop acting stupid.

 "Ahh. Good for you." And then he tapped my back " I think we really need to go. See you around!" I watched them walk away, holding hands pa. Holding hands....psh. Then huminga ako ng malalim.
