Priscilla

Fear bubbled up inside of my chest from the thought of going back to the small stone block prison cell.

"Help me up." Nico held out his hand for me to grab. I pulled him off the floor and onto his feet.

I ran to the door next to where the stairs landed. I was about to open it when it was swung close to my face. Theseus stood in the doorway.

I wrapped my arm around Nico's waist when I felt him lean on me for support.

"Theseus." I mumbled.

"No Priscilla!" Theseus raised his voice.

"Please." I cried. Tears began to flow.

"I can't. They'll kill me." Theseus let out a breath slowly.

"We need to get out of here." Nico said seriously.

"Theseus move." I said firmly. The persons who's the footsteps belonged to would be here in about five seconds. We didn't have a choice but to push through Theseus.

"Let's go Nico." I said.

"No." Theseus put his hands on either side of the door frame.

I tightened my grip on Nico's hip and rammed straight into Theseus. He didn't do anything. He just watched us run past.

Then I heard yelling behind us. I looked over my shoulder to see Amber standing next to Theseus screaming at him.

Amber turned to us and pulled out three knifes. I kept on running. My chest burned and I couldn't imagine how Nico felt.

"Amber no!" I heard Theseus scream.

"Shut up! You let them go! I will not die because you are a traitor!"

One more time I turned behind us. Amber threw the knifes. Keep on running I told myself.

I felt a stabbing pain in the back of my left thigh. I shrieked as another knife entered through my lower back. I never felt the third one.

I could feel the hot blood on my skin and felt it through my shirt. I sniffed the metallic smell of blood in the air.

I grimaced and stopped running. Nico looked at my back and shouted my name.

"I can't Nico. I can't go anymore. I don't wanna go back. I don't wanna."

Nico stood over me. I could see him thinking through things in his head. He made a decision and scooped me off of the floor.

He groaned as he picked me up fully. "Nico no. It's hurting you. Stop. I can walk, we can support each other.

I started to become dizzy and disoriented from blood loss. I squirmed slowly and attempted to move out of Nico's arms.

"Priscilla, you aren't making this easier. Stop." Nico muttered.

"But..." I trailed off. My head hurt and I felt like I was going to puke.
