'The Other Swan' (Twilight/Vampire Diaries Fan Fiction)

When I awoke I was alone in my room and I looked around for a bit while I wiped my face before going to take a shower. When I hopped out I pulled on some clothes and I went down the stairs that creaked quite loudly which completely dismantled my plan to be discreet. When I went to the kitchen I saw Katherine, Enzo and Nicholas all sitting quite soundly and I smiled at everyone when I got to the last step.

"Mom," he said and he gave me a hug.

"Hey. You're looking well. How are you? Have do you been eating? Are you keeping a low profile?" I asked him.

"I'm good actually, I missed you so much. Katherine's turned into a bit of a bitch," he said and I smacked him aside the head for being rude.

"Where is she?" I asked Katherine.

"She's unconscious in the next room,"

"Who?" Nicholas and Enzo asked.

"Just... stay out of this one please," I told them both, Katherine and I went into the next room and we saw my little friend. I locked the door behind me and secured our surroundings so that the two males wouldn't be able to hear the conversation.

"Hello," I said calmly and when she looked at me she freaked out.

"Aria? Why do you look like me?" she asked.

"Ugh, this is just like having a conversation with Elena all over again," Katherine said and I laughed.

"Correction. You look like me. You're wearing my face but that's beside the point. You have something I want,"

"What do we do with her?" Katherine asked and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Keep questioning her and then I need you to put her in hiding," I said and I walked back to the kitchen to see Enzo interacting with Nicholas.

"Mom a guy named Niklaus Mikaelson is outside," he said and I choked on my saliva.

"You didn't invite him in did you?" I asked him and he shook his head. I walked outside and closed the door behind me. I grabbed him by the collar and dragged him a good distance away from my house, far enough my Nick not to hear anything.

"You don't just pitch up at my house Nik,"

"I did try calling. Was that Elijah's son?" he asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"He has your eyes," he struggled to say.

"And his everything else. What do you want?" I asked him.

"Nothing in particular," he said and at that second my phone rang and I answered it.

"Where are you?" the voice asked.

"I'm where we said we were going to meet up. And you have to come alone," I told her.

"I know but you and I both know that's not possible,"

"Well it's either that or we don't meet at all," I replied harshly.

"Fine then," I knew she wouldn't come alone. I'd already figured that out.

"I need to get back," I said and I started walking away.

"Where are we going?" Nik asked.

"You are going back to New Orleans and forgetting that Elijah has a son and I am going to go talk to Bonnie," I said and he sighed.

"I'm coming with you," he said.

"Nik, you can't come with me. Nick is there and so is Enzo,"

"You forget that when I say I'm going to do something I don't take no for an answer," he said and I sighed frustrated. When I got to the house I invited Niklaus in and I smiled as if everything were normal.
