I figured I had a week before school started so I could have gotten some fun stuff done while I could. I also needed time to do something that didn't involve me thinking about my past. I went to the beach in La Push so I could relax and get my mind off of everything that had happened. I swam around for a long time trying to become at peace with my thoughts. I sat on the sea floor and looked around me. There was nothing. It was so bare, cold and rather calming. I laid down on my back and closed my eyes. After the water became tiresome I swam back up and when I got out of the water I saw a man with jet black hair and he was dressed casually but elegantly at the same time. He smirked and I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want?" I asked and he stood up smiling.
"Well, hello Aria. Did you miss me?" he asked.
"No, I didn't," I said and he laughed.
"Why not?" he asked.
"I'm pissed off at you Damon," I said and pulled my shorts on.
"Don't you just look adorable in those shorts?" He asked with a sheepish smile.
"So, again, what are you doing here?"
"I figured we'd catch up," he said, "It's story time," He said and I laughed shaking my head.
I took a deep breath and I pat down my wet hair. "First I need to know why you're here,"
"Like I said, we need to catch up. Now resume with the story," he smiled.
"Long ago, there was a woman named Katerina Petrova,"
"I already hate the story change it," he said and we sat on the sand and leaned against a log.
"Shut up and listen. You wanted a story here it is," I scowled and he raised his hands in defeat.
"She once went to a town called
Mystic Falls and she met 2 brothers by the name of Stefan and Damon Salvatore. The brothers fell deeply in love with her but she only loved 1 man. His name was Stefan Salvatore but Damon being so blinded by his love for her he didn't see that the feelings were not mutual,"
"I get the point, skip that," he said.
"Shut up Damon. You're missing the point of the story,"
"Fine," he said.
"Another woman by the name of Aria was there but under the alias Olivia Key,"
"You couldn't have been there. I would have remembered you," he said.
"I compelled you after you turned into a vampire anyway now if you interrupt me one more time I will rip your tongue out," I told him and he leaned back into the log.
"154 years later she returned to Mystic Falls where she returns to find Stefan. Damon foolishly pursued her at first until he found out she didn't love him. The brothers locked her away in the tomb but Damon being himself he fell in love with Elena and in secret pursued her behind Stefan's back. Let's skip that very sad story and move on to the part where my foolish descendant, Bonnie Bennett, decided to throw Katerina into oblivion. Being me and powerful, before oblivion was destroyed I fished her out so she's alive Damon. Alright, story time over," I said and stood up.
"She's alive?" he asked me and it was more of an angered question than a sincere question.
"She is under my protection until I get what I need from her. Then she dies because she ruined my life," I told him.
"Whose life hasn't she ruined?" he asked me and I shook my head. "For someone who is the daughter of Silas you are very stupid," he said.
"Call me stupid one more time and I will gouge out your eyes," I told him grabbing his throat and he immediately kept quiet.
"So rumour has it you're planning something big. People in New Orleans, Mystic Falls and other places are discussing this. Is it true?" he asked.
"No," I simply answered his question and I stood up.
"You're lying," he told me and I nodded.
"Of course I'm lying but you're not entitled to any answers. Too bad you can't compel me right?" I asked with a sheepish grin. Before I could hear his response I felt a shift in my neck and I was out cold.
