After I parked my car in a secluded place I made my way through dense wood and I finally stumbled across a small cottage. When the woman opened I gave her a hug and we stayed there for a while. "Hello Esther," I spoke into her ear.
"Aria," she reciprocated.
"Where is she?" I asked her breaking the hug.
"Mom?" the voice asked as it ran to me and spun the figure around a few times before setting it down.
"Selene. Have you been giving your grandmother grief?" I asked her politely and she shook her head. "Don't lie to me, I see everything?" I told her and she sighed.
"She won't let me outside,"
"They'll kill you as soon as you step outside that door. This is the only place that can keep you safe,"
"What about with dad and LJ. They could keep me safe,"
"They can't. LJ isn't strong enough and people hate your father's family," I explained.
"I told Elijah about his son," I said to Esther and she looked at me with wide eyes.
"What did he say?"
"He's a bit angry about it but I'm not sure how he'll feel about finding out he has a daughter too,"
"Why didn't you tell him about me?"
"Do you know how many people would go after him because of what you can do? Because of what we can do and what we are?" she kept quiet immediately.
I held Esther's hand and I kissed it before I began to chant. "Phasmatos Tribum, Exum Sue, Redem Su Pas Quo," I felt her magic fill me and her power made me feel rejuvenated.
"What are you doing?" she asked. "I thought we were friends, we're family," she continued.
"That's what I thought until you tried to kill my daughter and sent hunters to kill my son," I said and she went silent. "Tell me why," I added pacing around her.
"I don't know what you're talking about," she denied.
"Don't insult my intelligence!" I shouted and she swallowed hard. I calmed down and laughed at my temper. "I know it was you. I saw you try and drain my daughter of her magic too and you claim to be family. Why?" I asked and she took a moment to think about it.
"I had no choice Aria!" she finally blurted.
"Everyone has a choice Esther!! You decided to go and try to kill the only things that bring me joy!! Sometimes I think you're jealous of how happy I made Elijah and th couldn't do that as a mother," I pursed my lips and I pulled up a chair to look into her eyes while mine began to test up.
"I had my reasons!!" her voice bellowed.
"Enlighten me. What were those, you say, reasons?" I asked intrigued.
"You're the daughter of Silas and Qetsiyah, part of his bloodline and you are a danger to yourself and everyone around you. As well as both your children! They're evil"
"We're not evil," Selene responded heartbroken.
"You and your kids are immediately bound to resurrect him. I will not have a murderous sociopath rampaging anywhere near my son!" she told me.
"My grandfather wasn't a sociopath!" Selene shouted charging for Esther and I held her back. "He was brainwashed. It wasn't his fault okay because he loved us and sociopaths don't love anybody,"
"I love how you think so highly of yourself, Selene!"
"I need him," I shook my head.
"What have you done?" she asked.
"I didn't come here to discuss this! I have these friemds that are having the hardest time back in Forks. I need you to get rid of the Volturi, can you do that for me?" I was serious again.
"No," was all she said.
"Come on Esther, if you don't do this there will be no other reason for me to keep you alive," she still wouldn't say anything and then I stood up.
"Please don't do this Aria." she wriggled in her chair.
"This important, so if you don't have anything that may be of use to me then I have to kill you now," I looked at her and held my hand out.
"You bore my son two children! Please at least let LJ see his grandmother once," she said and I laughed.
"I hope you find peace. Just know this isn't personal it's just business. Just remember that I love you despite what you think and your children do miss you. Le specto tre colo ves bestia." She screamed and eventually I was holding her heart in my hand. I set it alight and left the premises with a cloaking spell so no one would see either me or my daughter.

I went back to the boarding house with a cloaking spell on and I walked through it freely trying to find my mother. I looked high and low until I finally went to the basement. After breaking the door down I found her speaking to Bonnie and Enzo. "Sorry to break up the party but I need my mother," I said and the two turned around.
"Leave, right now," she ordered.
"No, there's been a complication and I need you to help me sort it out sing you're in town," I smiled.
"You can't take her," Bonnie said.
"Vasmatos somnus," I said and they both tell asleep. My mother stood up and I took her to my car where she saw Selene sitting in the back seat.
"Hi grams," she said and my mother seemed happy to see her granddaughter but I could tell she was furious too.
"As soon as we get to the house you're going to get a mouthful," she said to me and I sighed.
