Lizzy's POV

After a long shower, I got dressed and ready to head back to the arena with Justin. He held my hand as we walked down to the car. Paparazzi waited but we pushed through as usual, ignoring every question, and looking down to avoid the blinding lights.

"You're quiet," Justin said as we sat in the car.

"Sorry," I said."I have a lot on my mind."

"Hey," he said softly. "Everything will be okay."

I looked at him, tears in my eyes... "I don't know."

He pulled me into him and I buried my face in his chest. He held me as I cried quietly. When we got to the arena he held my hand tightly so we could get through the mix of fans and paparazzi. Once we were inside Justin and I went to the highest seats in the arena and sat down in them.

"Sofia could stay with my mom," Justin said.

"I couldn't do that to your mother, she doesn't even know me."

"She would love you," Justin smiled as he interlaced his fingers with mine.

"How do you know?" I looked into his eyes.

"Because I love you," he said.

I cried even harder, "I love you too."

"Baby what's wrong?"

"When I was eight years old and I had an abusive stepdad, after he'd beat me with a remote because I put on spongebob, I'd go to my room and play Common Denominator over and over and over again. Your voice brought me so much happiness. I'd cry for hours because I wanted to be yours. And when I was ten my mom threw a beer bottle at me. It shattered on my hand and I had to get stitches. The nurses sang One a Time to me so I would stop crying. When I was fourteen I tore a muscle in my shoulder and needed surgery. The doctors made me sing Baby as I fell asleep. You have no clue how much you mean to me. And I never imagined you of all people loving me. I didn't think someone like you could love someone like me. And I'm so grateful."

"Lizzy," Justin held my hand. "I love you. I love you because you're the strongest person ever. You've been through so much and look at you, stronger than ever. I know you can get through this baby. You have me by your side through it all, don't worry." He hugged me.

"I love you," I cried. "I love you so much."

"I love you too baby," he kissed me.

"LUKE STOP!" I heard someone scream. I looked over and below us I saw Sofia running and Luke right behind her.

"SOFIA!" I screamed.

I started to run down the stairs as Luke tackled her. Justin followed me. I saw Luke pull out a gun and I jumped over the railing. My feet ached as I landed but I didn't care.

"LUKE PUT IT DOWN NOW!" I shouted.

Justin was right behind me. Luke stood up and had Sofia by the hair.

"You come with me or I shoot her," Luke said.

"I'm not going anywhere with you," I said.

Sofia was sobbing as he got the gun ready to shoot.

"LUKE!" I screamed. "PUT THE GUN DOWN!"

I walked over to him slowly, "please Luke."

I put my hand on his arm and he hit me in the face with the gun. I punched him in the face and heard the gun fire before both Luke and I fell back. I saw Justin run over to me.

"I'm fine," I sat up.

Security surrounded Luke and I saw Sofia sit up. Her hand was on her hip and I saw blood coming from her side. I crawled to her and held her.
