Lizzy's POV
"And now announcing the two love birds," Ellen introduced. "Justin and Lizzy."
The crowd was going insane as we walked on the stage, hand in hand. Smiles across our faces. Justin and I each hugged Ellen and then we took a seat on the couch across from her.
"Well everyone should be happy to know you guys are back together," Ellen smiled.
"Yes," Justin smiled and looked at me.
"And it's all thanks to me," Ellen winked.
I laughed, "yes it is."
"How has it been? You know the last hour?" Ellen smiled.
"It's great," Justin smiled. "Just know, we're both very happy."
"I'm happy you're happy," Ellen said... "Onto the interview!"
I smiled and Justin held my hand. I was a little nervous.
"So Lizzy," Ellen said. "How has your dance career been treating you?"
"Actually really well," I smiled. "I'm dancing in a music video in a couple weeks!"
"Who's music video?"
"Chris Brown's."
"Wow, good for you. You are very talented."
"Thank you," I smiled.
"And Justin," Ellen said. "How have you been?"
"The past six months haven't been easy for me. I lost so much and then it all came back to me. I'm so grateful that everything is okay and I'm healthy and happy. I have my girl back and I'm just unexplainably grateful."
"That's so great," Ellen smiled. "I'm really happy for you."
We continued with the interview and then afterwards, we left and went out for pizza with Scooter and Alfredo. Alfredo hugged me when we got there.
"I missed you," he said. "How are you?"
"I'm good," I smiled. "I'm happy."
We walked a few feet away from Justin and Scooter who were ordering the pizza.
"He was depressed on a whole different level," Alfredo told me. "He wasn't eating or sleeping. He was just there. And I know he felt useless. He wanted to remember you, he really did. And one morning he woke up and came downstairs crying. He remembered you, he remembered everything. Scooter, Justin, and I stood there for a good thirty minutes just hugging. It was easily the happiest day of Justin's life."
I smiled as tears came into my eyes.
"Everything okay?" Justin walked over to us.
I smiled and nodded, I wrapped my arm around his back and rested my head near his chest. "It's great."
I quickly blinked away my tears and we sat down. I spent the afternoon laughing and smiling with the greatest people ever. I was so eternally grateful that everything is okay.
Justin came over after we finished lunch and we snuggled on the couch.
"Tell me," I said. "What happened? How did you remember?"
Justin took a deep, shaky breath. "I was staying at Scooter's. He wouldn't let me go home. Him and Alfredo sat with me everyday. They would try everything to make me happy or to make me smile. Nothing worked. I just felt so useless."
He looked at me and I traced my fingers across his bare chest.
"I felt like I failed you," he said. "And I could barely live with myself for that. It wasn't easy. And one morning I woke up and I just remembered you. I started crying. Everything was so overwhelming and it was the happiest day of my life."
