Lost within my bounds
I can't breathe
Yet I can see gray and white.
My eyes, they swim
In yellow light
Cast everything aside.
Look at my hands
They burn like
Paper and pulp.
I cannot eat
Yet I still breathe
But it hurts when I gulp.
Where were you
When I needed you
Were you worried at all?
I can't throw away
The memories from
The night and day.
When you were in my arms
And I held you like
You were my only ray
I hoped
And still do
For you.
Did you love me
Like I did
Like I loved you?
Remember when
You said out of breath
"I do,"?
Do you still?
Because just so you know
"I do."
