Depressed, silent and lonely,
a beating, hopeful heart smiles knowing things will eventually change for the better
A glimmer of a single ember of hope
clings to the hollow cage of her chest keeping a brave front for the future
The boundaries may be lost in a sea full of reality,
but her heart's cages are always open
even if her flames aren't burning as bright as before.
