I'll mar the sky in golden tresses
Of sun and sky
Hear the crisp leaves under your feet
And smell the autumn air with a smile
Grasp in your palms a drowsy squirrel
Cozying in on your warmth
Radiate the autumn air and breeze
In your eyes I see the autumnal ease
Hold in your breath
Cast the night with stars
Gloss your skin with the autumn blueI've wondered still if hearts are meant to break
A lullaby for stars and
A slow whisper of dread
The winter settles in
The crisp leaves have fallen
The hollow trees they sing a ballad
And I wonder if I've found my calling
