I swear. I'm doing my very best to post at least one or two updates every week because this story is having a countdown to its finale. Even I can't wait for the ending and also I don't know how to make a good ending. This is my very first romance novel. So thanks for the support and I love you all! So here it goes...
Austin's Point of View:
Great. Now Tracy doesn't want to talk to me and Brianna kept on insisting that I am the father of her child. I never even slept with her. I'm sure the biological father of her expected child is some asshole that she hooked up with. The hell I care! I slammed my locker door.
"What the hell happened to you?" Leo, one of my hockey player friends asked.
"Dude, my girlfriend is mad at me. She doesn't even want to hear any of my explanations" I insisted.
"Girls will be girls. I guess will never understand their mood swings" He sat reluctantly next to me and changed his shirt.
"What do you think should I do?" I asked.
"Talk to her, there's nothing that can tame a girl's heart by talking to her gently" He stated.
"You think she'll listen to me?" I asked him for the second time around. He just stood there and laughed at me.
"Man, I never thought that you'll take girls seriously but based on how you act you're into some deep shit and you really are in love" he smirked. Yeah, what am I even expecting? A serious advice from a guy who dumps girl after he hooked up with them? What a pain in the ass.
"So there's our quarterback" He pointed at Scott who is approaching us.
"Hey-" I was interrupted when he suddenly hit me in the face with his fist.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked him as I wipe the blood on my face.
"What the fuck is wrong with me? What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin? The next time I'll see her cry because of you I swear I'm going to rip your ass off" Scott started. I can see the blazing anger in his eyes. He was outraged by his emotions. And I've never seen him like this before.
"So this is about Tracy, now?" I asked. I can feel people's eyes watching us as if they are watching a fight on a reality television.
"Yes this has always been about her" he added.
"What are you talking about?" I asked him. I'm confused right now. I don't see any connection between Scott, Tracy and I.
"I love her, Austin. And the next time you'll make her cry again I'm going to steal her away from you asshole" He pushed me then left. All I can do is watch him as he fades away from the scene. What the hell does that even mean? That he loves Tracy? That's bullshit.
"Hey, you okay man?" Leo asked.
"Yeah" I nodded in response.
"That's some serious love affair" he added then his lips formed into a smirk.
Now, I know why he's acting weird lately around me and Tracy. He fucking likes her. We might be friends but I won't let anyone, not even him steal my girl.
Tracy's Point of View:
Why do I get this feeling that something bad happened? I just can't help but to worry about Austin. I just replied to one of his messages but he never texted me back. Maybe I should talk to him. I started to pack my things and returned the book in the library shelf when I heard some girls talking behind the book shelf.
"Oh my, can you believe it? Scott punched Austin in the face. This is so unbelievable" the girl started.
"Lower your voice, someone might hear us" someone added.
"The next day, I'm sure this will be in the school's newspaper" the girl added.
I knew it! Something bad happened to Austin. I really need to talk to him. I started to walk away from the library and took a cab on my way to Austin's place. Oh Austin, what is happening to you?
End of Chapter Twenty.
