Chapter 18

We had set up all of our silver stakes and I managed to find someone to babysit Rozalina and Robyn.

The plan was to go back to the Academy and into the caves, the only place we properly knew that Strigoi lived there.

We had our stakes and were ready to catch the jet to the Academy. Dimitri held onto my hand but stayed silent the whole time until we got into the jet.

I buckled myself up and rested. I really wish I could get into her head right now.

Eddie was in front of me and near Alberta and Dimitri was by my side.

"What if something happened to her?" Eddie asked us.
"Don't think like that, Queen Vasilisa is going to be fine and we will kill all the Strigoi that must've taken her." Dimitri said.

I decided on sleeping the whole plane ride.

"Roza wake up, we're here." Dimitri shook me awake.

I fluttered my eyes open and unbuckled the belt. We walked down the steps and walked to the Academy. We were all greeted by Head Mistress Kirova.

"Welcome back Guardian Hathaway and Guardian Belikov, I heard all about Queen Vasilisa, how tragic!" She said to us.

"She isn't dead and we'll find her." I told her, walking away and walking to Christian who was testing his fire once again.

"You'll be good Christian, we will find her and you can burn them blood suckers." I tokd him, while patting his shoulder.

"Thanks for the help Rose, I mean it." He thanked me.

I smiled and moved some hair that was in front of my eyes. "Thanks Christian, and you are welcome." I said to him, walking away to sit on a bench on my own.

All of the Guardians were talking and waiting for the signal to start walking to the caves.

"Everyone may I please have your attention! We are ready to go and get our Queen back from them evil vampires! Are all of you ready?" Dimitri yelled.

Everyone nodded and took their stakes out.

We started to march to the caves.

When we finally arrived I heard screaming and talking in the caves.

It all stopped in seconds, making me think that they smelt us.

Alberta signalled us to enter. We all ran in and started attacking the Strigoi. My stake entered loads of chests and I heard my name being screamed.

It was Lissa.

I continued killing some more Strigoi until I ran into Lissa's direction. A saw a couple of guardians dead on the floor and tried to take the thought out of my head.

Lissa was wrapped tightly with rope and I untied them for her. She was being fed off from.

Some Strigoi had ran out from the cave and mostly they were dead on the floor.

Dimitri was helping some guardians who had gotten hurt. I saw that part if the cave was on fire, Christian..
