warning: the bowers gang, they're their own warning.

i'm re-reading IT and OMG, i'm so glad that they watered down the movies so much. ALTHOUGH, the it welcome to derry show is insaneee

the next few days seemed to blur together.

your sister, despite what had happened, was still the same bright little girl she had always been. you were glad that didn't change.

however, it seemed that the fucking bowers gang didn't get the memo.

you were walking down the street to the bookstore.

you probably should've guessed you'd be more harassed. today, though, you tried not to blend in as best as you could.

you hear henry bowers, though, and his gang.

"look here, boys," henry whistled."it's like she wants us to notice her." you snap,"i don't, asshole." you shove him. you hadn't realized you pissed him off even more that day. and as you walked away, you thought you finally had gotten him to stop bothering you.

oh, you had no idea.

- -

you close your front door behind you, sighing of relief that you'd managed to get away from them. well, at least henry. despite him seeming to be intimidating, he wasn't the one you were scared of the most.

it had to be patrick.

yeah, they were all the same in a way, evil, but he was the most messed up of them all. at school, everyone wanted to stay away from him the most, especially the girls. it just happened to be your bad luck that you caught his attention. it usually faded, but it hadn't, yet.

you would pray for that moment to happen .

"(y/n), are you home?" your mother asked. "yeah, mom, I'm in my room!" you called out.

"okay, just making sure!"

you reply back to that, sighing. you hadn't told your mother about your issue with the bowers' gang, because she wouldn't understand. and, she'd probably try and do something. but, Henry has a cop for a father, he'd definitely use his privilege on you.

therefore, it seemed to be the best idea to keep it to yourself, and try to handle it on your own. no one in derry had ever done anything before. you knew people had witnessed the experiences you had with the bowers' gang, and didn't do shit.

fucking adults, they were supposed to be the ones helping all of the kids, yet they weren't, not at all.

they just turned a blind eye, and you're 100% sure it was pennywise's doing. derry had a curse, and mostly everyone knew that. they just didn't know the extent of it as you did, and the losers.

speaking of, they also were acting a little strange. of course, you try not to judge too harshly. but still, you couldn't exactly explain why you felt that way.

you hated bystanders more than anything.

if pennywise was gone, then maybe this would change, maybe derry would've become a much different town, a better town, actually.

you learned a lot about derry from history books, your mother had been slightly concerned, and so were your friends, the losers, except ben, he liked to read as much as you do.

"geese, how many books are you reading?" richie commented once, hovering over you. you were a bit flustered."reading's good for you, richie." you knew he was just teasing you, even still, was he wrong?

today was a normal day, you didn't feel like going out, but, you knew that you couldn't just live in your room 247, just because Henry bowers liked tormenting you. it seemed to be an obsession for him, and all of his gang.

you already knew they were creeps and pervs, they just always took it another step further. everyone knew that, too, it wasn't hard to see.

at dinner that day, grace described her day happily, and you loved listening to her. at least she was able to have a good day everyday, she was also five, so it made sense.

whereas your day wasn't the best, but, you lied to your mom about it. you wouldn't let her know about what happened, actually.

you wish that you hadn't been in derry at all, and that you would've been born in some other town, an actual normal town.

no one in this town could deny the fact that this town was just filled with evil energy and darkness. they just had no idea what created that energy to be exact.

it didn't help that adults couldn't see pennywise or the visions he created. so yes, no one really would do anything to stop it besides maybe the losers.

the next day, you thought it'd be a good day to go to the quarry with the losers. you liked swimming and so did they.

"who's going to go first?" ben asked. beverly snickered."i can't believe you're all still sissies."

"i'll go," you volunteer and jump in first.

the water feels great.

you watch as the others follow, beverly was next, of course. as soon as everyone was in the water, you quickly began having a blast.

when you dunk under water, you were for a moment, tempted to stay under there. the water was just so calming and let you relax and let loose just for a moment.

you felt that you belonged around with them. you had f/n, yes, but lately, you've been distant from him.

you do miss f/n, you just don't really talk to him much.

he never really talked to you either now. you found that strange. considering that you thought anything that happened was resolved, but apparently not.

you'd talk to (f/n), whenever you had the chance. you had to just see why you two were just so distant. it hadn't been that way at all for this long. after swimming for a bit, you sunbathed up above the water next to beverly.

this wasn't your first time at the quarry, you've been here plenty of times with (f/n).

you just wanted to talk to him again.

that, and hopefully figure out what the hell pennywise truly was. there was no way he was just a shapeshifting clown or whatever.
