I'm not sure what the whole 'Arthur being zapped into the 21st century with Merlin who has lived there for some reason' but it's kinda funny. I almost want to make a book of one shots. I mean, can you imagine Arthur trying to make himself breakfast?
Arthur: *takes box of frozen sandwiches out of the freezer* *rips open box* *dumps a sandwich out* *stares at it for a minute* *calls Merlin* Merlin, how do I cook a breakfast sandwich?
Merlin: *sighs* You stick it in the microwave.
Arthur: okay.... *looks at all the appliances* Which ones the microwave?
Merlin: Arthur! We've been over this, it's the small metal box on the counter.
Arthur: Okay. Yeah, thanks!
Merlin: No problem just try not to break anything. *hangs up*
Arthur: *snorts* like I'm going to break anything. *sticks sand which, still in its plastic wrap, in the microwave* Uh... Cooking... Cooking. *hits random button* *microwave starts* Ha! I can cook.
*a couple minutes later sandwich explodes in microwave*
*Arthur calls Merlin*
Arthur: Merlin, you idiot, the sandwich blew up!
Merlin: Wha- how long did you cook it?
Arthur: Six minutes!
Merlin: Arthur... Did you read any of the directions on the box?
Arthur: ... There were directions?
