Remember my parody of 'there, right there'? Well, this one's called Just Around the Corner from Addam's Family Musical. It made me think of authors killing their characters.
Adam (Writer for OUAT):
Our character's getting married.
I can't believe it's true.
Eddy (Other OUAT Author): She doesn't ask her authors.
before she says "I do".
Moffat: And what about her husband?
Eddy: Oblivious, naive.
Adam: This evening's getting serious:
these Fangirls won't leave.
Cassandra Clare: But we can't let these latest problems
rob us of our bliss.
Rick Riordan: For when we're scared of true disaster,
We remember this:

waiting patiently to strike.
JK Rowling: One unplanned electrocution
Adam: that's the kind of end

TNT: Perhaps an unsuccessful love affair. (crying noise)
James Dashner: It could be on a speeding train,
Rick Riordan: It could be underwater.
Veronica Roth: It could be too much Novocain
Cassandra Clare: or even by your daughter.
Moffat: Perhaps a bad mosquito bite.
John Green: A title fight.
TNT: Religious rite.
JK Rowling: My darlings, it might even be tonight.
Authors: Death is just around the corner
no one's ever been immune.
John Green: Turning off a respirator
Rick Riordan: with a simple keyboard click
Cassandra Clare: Scandalously quick.
Adam: I can face a new episode
if I make it past today.
Eddy: I feel good saying

simply on its way.
