Brenna's POV

I woke up to Ava crying. I rolled over to check the time and it was 5 a.m. Nash was still asleep so I picked her up out of her crib and went downstairs.

I made a bottle for her and laid her in her swing once she was finished eating.

I started the pot of coffee and made a bagel for myself.

As I was drinking my coffee I heard a phone go off. I thought I left mine upstairs. I saw Nash's phone laying on the armrest of the couch.

He had a text from some girl named Briana.

It said
Briana: hey baby, I miss you. come by later😏

What the fuck is this. I thought about going upstairs and yelling at him right now, but I decided that I was going to finish my coffee, and wait for the right time.

I watched tv until 8 when Nash came downstairs.

"Hey baby," he kissed me, "have you seen my phone?" I pointed to the coffee table where his phone was sitting.

"Thanks babe," he unlocked his phone, texted someone and then locked it again.

"I'm gonna run to the store and get some toilet paper, I'll be back soon," he stood up from the couch.

"We're out?" I asked like I didn't know what was going on, "I could've sworn I just bought some the other day."

"Yeah. I don't know baby, I'll be back, love you."

"Hey maybe while you're out you should stop by Briana's. She really misses you," I said not taking my eyes off the tv screen.

"What are you talking about?"

"I saw your phone, Nash, don't play dumb," I looked up at him.

"Babe, I don't know what you're talking about, I'm just going to get some toilet paper."

I stood up and walked over to the closest bathroom.

"Babe, where you going?"

I came back out with a few rolls of toilet paper and threw them at Nash.

"Get the fuck out of my house you lying piece of shit!" I screamed and Ava started crying.

"Brenna I can explain, please listen," he said.

"I swear to god, Nash, if you do not get the fuck out I will call the police."

Sam came running down the stairs holding Connor, who was crying.

I took Connor from Sam and held him.

"It's okay baby," I rocked back and forth.

"Why are you guys fighting?" He asked.

"We're not, it's all okay, here go play with Uncle Sam in your playroom."

He nodded and ran to his playroom holding Sam's hand.

"Baby," Nash walked towards me.

"Don't touch me," I hissed.

"Brenna," a tear fell down his face.

I really wanted to cry but I wasn't going to let him get the best of me. So I held it in and pointed to the door.

"Please," he said quietly.

"Get out," I turned my back to him and heard the front door open and then shut a few seconds later.

I can't believe he's cheating on me. I fell to my knees and cried. Sam came into the living room and hugged me.

"It's okay," he didn't even know what was going on, but that's just Sam. He doesn't really care what's going on, he saw that his best friend was hurt and tells you that everything's okay.

"He cheated on me," I said in between cries.

"You'll be okay," he pulled me onto his lap and rocked me.

"I love you," I cried.

"I love you too, B."

*10 hours later *

I was laying in bed and I heard the the front door open and close and then footsteps up the stairs. Then my bedroom door slowly opened.

I pretended like I was asleep knowing it was Nash.

"Brenna?" He shook my arm.

"I'm sorry," he said shortly after and then I heard my bedroom door open and shut and then footsteps down the hall.

I finally forced myself to go to sleep and woke up to feed Ava.

When I went downstairs, Connor was sitting at the kitchen island eating cereal.

"Hey baby," I walked into the kitchen and kissed his head.

"Did Uncle Sammy get you cereal?" I started the coffee and made Ava a bottle.

"No. Daddy did," he took another bite of his cereal.

"And where is daddy?" I put the bottle in Ava's mouth.

"He's in the garage."

"Thank you," I walked out of the kitchen and into the garage. And there he was, sitting at his work bench, just staring at something on the wall.

"Nash?" He looked up an his eyes were bloodshot.

"Hey B," he looked back at the wall.

"Whatch looking at?" I walked over to him.

It was a picture from out wedding. We looked so happy. I wish I could go back to that day.

"I miss it, ya know? We were so happy to be with eachother," he whispered.

"Yeah, Nash we could still be like that."

He looked up at me, "really?"

"We could be happy, but I don't know if I could trust you again."

"Baby," he reached up and put his hand on my shoulder and looked down at Ava, "I will never, never hurt you again, never."

I shook my head, "how long?"

"What?" He took his hand off my shoulder.

"How long were you with her?" Tears started to form in my eyes.

He was quiet for a few seconds, "two weeks."

I nodded, "we've only been married for a year, Nash."

"I know baby."

"And you cheated on me. You have a family, Nash, why would you do this to us," I cried.

"Baby," he touched my shoulder again, but I walked back into the house and put Ava in her swing.

I went upstairs and sat on my bed and cried. I dot think I have ever cried so hard. I was so heartbroken.

Nash came up to the room and sat next to me after a couple minutes.

He grabbed my hand but I pulled it away. He sighed and then pulled me into a hug. This time I didn't pull away, I cried into his shoulder.

Once my breathing regulated, I looked up from his shoulder and saw that he was crying too.

He tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead.

"I am so sorry, Brenna."

"I know, but I can't take you back, not this easily. Nash you really hurt me, you have to earn my trust back."

He nodded, "do you want me to leave?"

"Could you just hold me for a little longer?"

He nodded and pulled me back in for another hug. I eventually fell asleep in his arms.
