10. Meet Bethany

Nash's POV

Today after school I'm going over to Sam's house so he and Kian can help me with how I'm going to ask Brenna to prom.

I'm really nervous, but after the other night, I think she'll say yes.

I pulled into my assigned parking spot at my school and walked in and headed for my locker.

When I bumped into a short girl with her blonde hair in a pony tail, and she was wearing high waisted jeans and a 5sos shirt.

I only know who they are because of Bren, I swear.

I helped her pick up her books because being the klutz that I am I knocked her book out of her hands.

When we both stood up I asked her what her name was and she said "Bethany Cortez, just call me Beth"

"Okay just Beth, are you new today?" I asked as she giggled.

"Yeah, I am could you maybe help me to my class, this school I confusing"

"Oh yeah of course, let me see you schedule" I said reaching my hand out to grab her paper.

I read her first period, "period 1: Mrs. Rice, oh cool I have her too next, I'll walk with you, come on."

I said I I grabbed her arm and lead her to our first class.

This girl seemed pretty cool. I'll have to introduce her to Brenna.

Brenna's POV.

I was walking to my first class with Kian when I saw Nash holding some girls arm.

"Who is that with Nash?" I asked while nudging Kian's arm.

"She must be new, I don't know her. don't worry though, Nash is crazy about you!" Kian said while over pronouncing "crazy".

I smiled and continued walking back to class.

The bell rang and everyone packed up their shit and left the class room.

I pulled out my phone and texted Nash.

B: meet me by my car.

N: oh shit! sorry babe I told this new girl I met she could sit with me at lunch.

B: that's fine I guess I'll go by myself, have fun.

N: I promise we'll go to chipotle tomorrow, I really want you to meet this girl she's really cool.

B: oh yeah, how?

N: well let me just start off with, she's wearing a 5sos shirt.

B: I'm in see you in a second, save me a seat babe!

N: will do my queen!😊

I put my phone back in my pocket and headed to the cafeteria, ew.

I walked in and went straight to the table Nash, Kian, Sam, and I always sit when we eat here.

I sat down next to Nash and he leaned over and pecked my lips and said "hey babe, this is Bethany, Bethany this is my girlfriend Brenna"

Bethany stuck out her hand for me to shake and said "I'm Bethany, you have a really pretty name."

"Thanks" I said while shaking her hand "you too."

We sat and ate our lunch together and me and Beth got to know each other more.

She's not bad. I think we could possible be best friends.

I need a friend that's a girl. My boys are annoying as fuck!

The bell rang and we all got up to leave when I was pulled back into the crowd of people.

By Bethany, she asked for my number, I gave it to her than we went our separate ways.

When the day was finally over I walk out to my car when I was stopped by guess who, Matt.

"Hey, uh what are you doing" I said with a fake giggle while I tried to pull out of his grip.

"I miss you so much baby, I need you in my life, I can't function without you, look at me, I'm back to drugs, two years clean I was, because of you. now I don't have a reason and I can't take it!"

Matt said almost screaming

I grabbed his hand and said "Matt..."

"Matthew" he corrected me

"Sorry, Matthew, I'm sorry but you were doing so great. I need you to stop with the drugs, I can't be with you I'm with Nash, I really am sorry Matthew, I can't help you."

"BUT BABY I NEED YOU" now he was screaming.

I tried to pull my arm away again but he was just too strong.

Matt started to kiss my neck when I felt him get off of me.

I opened my eyes and saw Matt laying on the cement holding his face.

I looked to my left and saw a pissed off Nash with his fist clenched

Thank god Nash helped me. who knew how far Matt or Matthew whatever would go.

I wrapped my arms around Nash and squeezed him tightly as he did the same to me.

I pulled away and kissed him.

Every kiss was like fireworks, I really think I was falling in love all over again.

But then I pulled away from the kiss and saw Bethany standing next to Nash.

I frowned then noticed she was looking at me so I fake smiled at her and pulled Nash to the side where Bethany wouldn't hear me.

"Why is she always with you?" I asked Nash.

"She needs a ride. I'll take her home then do you want to go somewhere later?"

"Sure" I said then hugged Nash and got in my car and drove home.
