Chapter 13

Taylor's POV
I got ready for school today, wearing shorts and a tank top. I bought two tickets to prom. I was planning on taking Brooklyn, as friends. Prom was actually in 2 weeks. So I was planning on asking her tomorrow. So I bailed her out of jail at 4:00 pm.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" She said and kissed my cheek.
"Your welcome."
"But can I uh. Stay at your place." She asked.
"Um yeah sure." I said scratching the back of my head.

We got to my house and ate food and then went in my room. We talked to get to know each other more.
"So where are you originally from?" She asked.
"Southern Indiana." I said smiling.
"That's why you kinda have an accent." She said. We both laughed.

Around 11:00 pm, we laid down. I let her borrow sweat pants and she just chose her sports bra. I wore sweat pants and no shirt.
"Your so skinny!" She said laughing.
"Yeah... I know, but trust me. I eat.... A lot!" I said laughing.

We were just laying in my bed in the dark, it was kinda awkward. Then I kinda put my arm around her just because I'm just cold a little. She snuggled into my chest and honestly it was cute.

I woke up and scrolled threw my Instagram and saw pictures that I was tagged in from my old friends. I miss it there, but I like it here. She woke up shortly after and it was around 6:30 AM.
"Morning." I said.
"Morning." She said back.

We got ready for school and I wore the usual and she just looked good as always. We walked to school since it was nice out.

When we got to school, I was nervous. I wanted to ask Brook to prom, but what if she said no, or what if she laughed at me.

At lunch I grabbed black body paint and painted on my stomach, prom?
Hopefully she'll say yes.

I went in the lunchroom and saw she wasn't there, so I checked the field and there she was. I came up behind her and she smiled. She had a huge smile. The biggest smile I've ever seen.
"So if you can't read, I'll say it for you. Will you go to prom with me?" I asked.
"Oh my god! Of course I will! Yes!" She said and hugged me tight. Then I smiled.

Brooklyn's POV
Taylor just asked me to prom and I'm so happy right now. The thing is I don't know if we are going as friends or not. I like him more, but we just met the other day.
"Okay I also had to ask you if you were coming back over today." He said.
"If it's okay. Then sure." I said still smiling.
"Yeah, nobody is really ever home." He said and hugged me one more time before we left for our next class.

After school, I send to Taylor's like I said. I loved his house. It's way better than mine. He hasn't seen mine yet though. It's ugly, to me at least.

When we got to Taylor's, he made us chicken nuggets. I loved chicken. We ate in his room. He laughed at me because I ate mine with ranch. When that's normal.
We played games and stuff and we talked some more, a little about prom. Like we are choosing to wear a mint color. Which I love a mint color.
"So I'll go dress shopping tomorrow?" I asked.
"Yeah sure." He said.
I just hugged him for a long time. He started laughing after a minute.
"What?" I asked.
"Why are we still hugging?"
"Because you are so warm!" I said laughing. He started laughing to and then lightly pushed me over and hovered above me on the floor and said, "I'm warm because I'm so hot and it reflecting off my body." We started laughing so hard and I nodded.

"I like you Brooklyn." He said blushing. I felt my cheeks get so red.
"I uh... I like you too." I said and smiled. He looked up at me and smiled and looked down again.
"So where are you going for college?" He asked me
"I'm suppose to go to London, but I don't want to now." I said.
"Oh."
"Yeah. What about you?" I said.
"I'm going back to Indiana, hopefully. I'm suppose to be getting the letter soon, but if not I'm going here." He said.
"I've applied in Indiana and here too!" I said smiling and laughing.
"We should go to the same school!" He said laughing.
"Hopefully." I said and smiled.
