17~ Jack

Zoeys's pov.

We answered a few questions like 'how did he ask you out' or 'ship name?' just simple questions like that. Our ship name is Zian. I like that name.

We had ended the video and i decided it was time to edit all of my videos. I also made a quick funny video with Conner while Kian was editing.

I sat down on the floor with my laptop and everything else. And started to edit.

~a few hours later~

We had all finished our recording and editing and it was already dinner time. The day had gone by really fast. We just decided to order pizza. We had to go get it in 5 minutes.

I feel my phone vibrate and I grab it out of my pocket to see I have a message. Ugh.. it was from Jack the abusive ex boyfriend who doesn't leave me alone.

I open it to see that it said.

WTF!! you have a boyfriend! Your mine and I'm going to prove it!!

I rolled my eyes he was probably joking. I don't know, I just wanted him to give up and leave me alone. I wonder if he had ever texted Kian.

The pizza shop was only around the corner and I was going to go pick it up until the boys stopped me. "Woah what are you doing Zoe?" Jc says. I furrow my eyebrows. "It's night, your not going alone!" he orders. I wasn't going to bother arguing.

I nod and Kian follows me out. We walk peacefully together and making small talk while holding each others hands. We get to the pizza shop and we pay for it and make the short walk back to the house.

We were nearly there until someone jumped out from an alley way. The man was wearing a dark hoodie and I couldn't see his face, I look down to see a knife. He lifted his head and shakes of the hoodie. Oh my!!! It was Jack.

He had his crooked evil smile and he stank of alcohol as usual. He grinned at me and stumbled a bit. I looked at him in disgust and he started to speak. "Long time no see Zoey," he says while waving the knife in my face and I feel Kian's hand tense.

I turn my head to Kian and he had a worried and confused expression on his face. He was probably wondering how the guy with the knife knew me. He asked those exact words.

That's when Jack came up to me and slung his arm around my shoulder. I pushed him off and yelled for Kian to run. I didn't want to spend another second with him and I could feel the tension rising. I also didn't want Kian to ask questions.

We ran for another minute and he was too drunk to follow thank god. Before we walked into the house I turned to Kian. " Okay if the boys ask what took us so long say that the line was big and don't tell them what happened I'll explain later!" I ordered but still sounded calm.

Before we had time to answer or decline I opened the door to see the boys waiting their impatiently. "What took you guys so long I'm starving I need foooood," Conner yelled while walking towards us with his arms out. I laugh at him and roll my eyes.

I was hungry but after that run in with Jack not anymore. I told Kian to not tell the boys and he didn't thank God. The boys started to dig in and I just sat and watched.

"Zoey, you eating?" Ricky asked concerned. I look up to him and I put on a happy face and nod and make up a believable excuse. Kian wasn't buying it though.

I walked up into Kian and mine shared room for the moment until the boys finished it. I sat down on the unmade bed. What would Jack of done if Kian wasn't there? What would happen if Kian found out about what happened between Jack and I? He would hate me and think I'm weak right?

He would go and tell Jc and Jc would kill me and Jack. Me for not telling him and Jack for well everything. I was starting to over think everything until I heard Kian's door creak open.

It was Kian. His hair was perfect as always but his once bright smile was gone and he had a frown. He sat down in front of me and gave me a puzzled look.

"Who was that guy? I can tell that's why your upset and why can't the boys know about him?" he says trying to get information but doesn't want to push me.

I don't know if I should tell him. I mean what if he left or told someone or everyone. My life would shoot downwards. I look into his amazing eyes and see pure worry in them. I have to tell him, no secrets.

"Kian if I tell you everything you have to swear on your life to not tell anyone, no one knows not even Jc?" I say sternly.

He promised he wouldn't tell a soul and I could tell he meant it. I take a few deep breaths and I didn't know where to start. "Promise to not freak out when I tell you?" I say scared of his reaction. After a little he slowly nods.

"The guys name was Jack, he was my abusive ex boyfriend," I say plainly.
