20~ the misunderstanding

Zoey's pov.

"What's wrong?" I asked Ricky moving closer to him to see his phone. He turned his phone and I read the tweet on the screen. I had the same reaction. It was a picture of Ricky and I from this morning and we were laughing when we were at the cafe.

I read the comments and it wasn't good. There were things like...

"Ricky and Zoey having a date? I don't think Kian is going to like this!!"

"Omg I don't know who to ship Zian or Zicky!! They are definitely getting close I think Kian has some competition!"

All of the comments were like that and it was just getting insane. Everyone thought it was a date and that I'm cheating on Kian. How can this happen? Ricky and I having a friendly morning out and now it's turned into a big fat lie.

I groan and run a hand through me hair. What was Kian going to think? What if he believed it? Our relationship would be over! So would O2l!! How is this happening?? I started to freak out and Ricky noticed.

He was a little bit freaking out but he was keeping it calm. He took a few steps closer to me and grabbed my shoulders keeping me still since I was pacing the room. He looked me in the eyes. "It's going to be okay we will work this out I promise!" He says comfortingly.

I take a deep breath and I relax a bit, I heard footsteps upstairs and I'm guessing one of the boys are awake. Ricky and I hug. It was one if those hugs that said that we would work this out. A friendly hug.

"What the freaking hell! First you go on a date behind my back then your hugging right in front of me!!" I heard a familiar voice yell behind me probably waking up the whole house.

I then knew how much shit Ricky and I were in. How does a friendly gesture keep turning out to look more than friendly. I quickly pulled away from Ricky and whirl around to face a furious and upset Kian.

Ricky instantly walked up to Kian and started to explain. "Kian it isn't what it looks like we just went out for a drink and that was it and I gave her a friendly hug because she was freaking out!!" Ricky rushed to get all the words out.

Kian want listening though. I could see how Kian was thinking the wrong things but he has to hear what really happened. "You expect me to believe that!? How could you guys! Your my girlfriend and your one of my best friends!" he yelled and this caused the rest of the boys to rush downstairs.

"What is going on quit the shouting?!" Conner half whispered and yelled in his morning voice. Kian faced him and said that I'm cheating on him with Ricky. Jc, Conner, Sam and Trevor stared at Ricky and I in disbelief.

Now it was my turn to explain. " Omg for the last time I'm not cheating! Ricky and I went out and grabbed a coffee and got chased by fans and someone took a photo of us saying it was a date and posted on twitter so I started freaking out so Ricky gave me a friendly hug to calm me down!!!" I yelled desperate for someone to believe me.

Jc walked up to me and the rest of the boys seemed to believe me because they started to defend us. "Kian how many times has people done stuff like this and made rumors? This is the one out of all of them you are going to believe?" Conner spoke.

He has a point. Jc added a comment saying that friends could hug and go out for coffee. I nodded in agreement. "So great now I'm the bad guy! I thought you guys were my friends?" Kian says and then walks out the door slamming it shut.

I walk towards the door so I can chase after him but Jc pulled me back saying that I should let him think and cool off. I knew he was right so I groaned in frustration and flopped onto the couch and ran my hands through me hair.

I could tell Ricky was stressing out as well. I feel a pair of arms wrap around me and I didn't know which one of the boys it was but I needed a hug so I gladly accepted. I smelt hus cologne and recognized it to be my brother.

He whispers soothing things in my ear and I knew I couldn't just sit here and feel sorry for myself I had to make this right. I grabbed my phone and started tweeting. Ricky was doing the same and soon everyone was tweeting about it.

Some people were supportive and a heap off my YouTube friends were being supportive like superwoman, Kingsley, Hannah hart, Grace, Emma blackery and more. Most people started to believe is except for a few fans and Kian.

I was fine with some fans thinking that but I needed to find a way to reassure Kian it wasn't like that. We got together in a circle and started to make a plan. "okay so how are we going to make mission 'get Kian in our side' get working?" says Sam.

Everyone thought for a little bit. We had a few okay ideas but nothing solid. I knew Kian well enough to know that whenever Kian was mad he was stubborn so no matter how many times I would tell him the truth it would matter. So instead we just decided that if Kian loved me he wouldn't be able to last long without me and his best friends.

It seemed reasonable, I mean I didn't do anything wrong so it'd not my fault. I was still stressed but I knew I just had to wait until Kian came back.
