Claire’s P.O.V:
“Are you sure this will work?” I asked, skeptically.
“Only if you can bring her here.” Chance said flipping through the spell book. Kayla came up from behind Chance and held him.
“When are you going to finish up? I want to spend some time with you babe,” she said as she kissed his neck. Chance smiled sweetly and kissed her cheek.
“Soon, I promise.” He said, she nodded and left.
“Will I die if we kill her?” I asked ignoring the interruption.
“Not if she’s still outside of the body.” He said still flipping through the book.
“How long can she survive without being in the body?” I questioned
“Not much longer, but knowing Eric he’ll find a way to keep her alive.” He said putting the book down only to pick up another.
“What are you looking for?” I asked getting extremely annoyed.
“For a way to hide you from, Eric, so he can’t take you back.”
“Don’t worry about that, they’re not going to get me.” I said rolling my eyes.
“Don’t be so cocky, the Beta of the pack is very talented in tracking.”
“I’d like to see them try to find me.” I murmured under my breath, Chance glared up at me.
“If you’re not going to listen you can leave or be killed, do you understand?” He said putting the book down and pulling out his very deadly gun.
“Understood,” I said grudgingly.
“Good, now go home and rest, I planned some more training for you tomorrow.” He said places the books back into the satchel and handing it to me.
“Where will I stay tonight?” I asked.
“There is a hut on the beach farthest north, you may stay there instead of here while you train.” He told me, as he laid the keys down as well as walked away following where Kayla went.
I picked the keys up and exited the Wildfire packs house. I took to the air quickly, hoping to get to my packs house before midnight. I’ve been sneaking glimpses of it for two days and nothings seemed to change. Why wait? I can get her tonight. Stupid Chance I will show him that you don’t need a plan to get Allie. I refuse to wait two weeks just for me to get more training that I do not need. All I need to do is be quick and quite.
I dove down from the sky as soon as the lights from the mansion were visible. I landed gently on the roof and turned invisible. I went through a mental diagram of the house. Assuming she was either in Eric’s room or the hospital meant I had to have back up plan in case she wasn’t in the first. Eric’s room is closest, I can sneak in through the balcony Allie and I saw the day before.
I slid down the roof and landed on top of a windows edging. As I was about to float down over to balcony Ariel walked by the window. Now I have to be very careful, there are too many people that could hear, or smell me if I flew against the wind. As I slid down the side of the window, I hovered sideways to the balcony using the wall to pull myself along. I lifted my feet up onto the railing and crouched there listening, and watching for anything that might have notice me. I looked down into the garden and saw three men sitting around a fire pit drinking beer. I didn’t have to use any powers to tell they were too drunk to notice me.
“Did you hear about what happened to the Alpha?” one said between hiccups,
“Nope, tell us!” the red headed one slurred,
