After they took some blood they said to come back in an hour so that I could have some time to get cleaned up I nodded and left for my room. I walked by Zandra and Ariel's room and found their door had been fixed from the other night. I jogged to the end of the hall and climbed the stairs up to the fourth floor of the mansion. I wonder if Allie will have trouble remembering where everything is. I ran a little fast trying to get to my room quicker. When I came to the end of hall I opened the black door on the right.
"Two missing girls! Please contact us if you have seen them!" the news reported on the flat screen said as I entered my room and then two pictures flashed up on the screen. I recognized them both; Allie and Katlynn. I quickly turned off the TV; I'll have to bribe the governor again to make them look the other way on this case. I looked around my room and found it was just the way I left it the night Allie and Katlynn were camping. I walked up to my dresser and pulled out a black tee and a pair of jeans. I opened my closet door and pulled out one of the many pairs of black army boots I had in there. I kept so many of one thing because clothes can only last two or three changes before they disappear. I wonder where they go... I walked through my office to the bathroom and took a nice cold shower. After I cleaned myself I got out and brushed my teeth, hair, and shaved. I put my clothes on and ran back downstairs, eager to see Allie.
"Aw, Eric, good news! Allie is recovering remarkably quickly!" the doctor said as I entered the room and led me to Allies bed. She was just how I left her expect there was more color in her cheeks and she looks truly peaceful. 'And she's all ours.' My wolf purred to me in pleasure as some inappropriate pictures flashed through my mind of her. 'Stop that, we're still not fully mated yet!' I said to my wolf still gazing at Allie. 'What if she denies us?' my wolf growled at me. 'Then we respect her decision and leave her alone.' I said, pained that there was still that chance.
"Eric?" a coarse voice asked. I looked down to see Allies eyes slowly started to open.
"I'm here Allie, what do you need?" I asked leaning down over her, grabbing her hand. She looked up at me when I saw something unusual; her eyes were black. But when she blinked again her eyes were back to their normal blue.
"A kiss would be great." She said smiling feebly at me. I leaned down and kissed her gently on the lips; being careful not to hurt her in anyway. I pulled away and looked at her, very happy that what she wanted was a kiss.
"Why am I in a hospital?" she asked looking around.
"The Wildfire pack injected liquid silver in you, I had to bring you here so you wouldn't... die." I said choking out the last word.
"Is that why everything I did was so painful?" she asked looking up at me.
"Yeah, silver sucks doesn't it?"As I said it she smiled like she knew something I didn't.
"What?" I asked her still smiling.
"When I was chained to the floor with silver cuffs I was thinking that too." She said as she smiled sadly at the thought.
"Why did you run away?" I asked her pain filling me up at the thought that she might have been afraid to tell me something.
"Derek was trying to force me to mate with him on the porch and so I ran away from him. I didn't think about what would happen till I was past the intersection." She said, zoning out while she told me.
