"I have a few things to say and request everyone's attention" announced the chief. "My grandson and his friends need rest and comfort for a few days so we all will be kind to them. My daughter already has a life and has made many mistakes as a result of what happened to her thirteen years ago. I think for the benefit of both parties they will continue their life seperately. My daughter has a family and our way of life would be corrupted if we accepted these jueveniles to permanently reside with us. Narcissa does not agree with what I am saying but, she had the choice to either stay here with us or go with Barrett and his friends and she is staying. We are not going to have our guests work we will give my grandson and his friends the cottage we used to store supplies in to stay in. They will be leaving the day after tomorrow and we shall walk with them one hour for protection from the rival tribes through here then say our goodbyes". Narcissa was crying and tried hugging Barrett but, he pushed her and ran off yelling back "I hate you! Your leaving me all over again! Don't touch me!" Darkus tried grabbing his hand but he pulled away. "Go see about him!" Arica said. Narcissa shook her head. "Your his mother Narcissa" Arica said. "No, you are. I gave birth to him but, you raised him Arica. Anyone can have a baby but, not anyone can be a parent. You've raised him and he listens to you. You never left him but, I did. Your his mother I'm not. Your younger but a hell of alot better parent to him than I ever was" Narcissa said. Arica shook her head at Narcissa then went and hugged Barrett who was sitting behind a tree."I finally found her and she's gonna be gone again. She can raise my sister but not me? She doesn't even care about me" he said. "Barrett it's gonna be ok just calm down ok? She'd have to leave her whole family and home and life all over again" said Arica soothingly."I love you it's gonna be ok".
