Chap 39 (Three years later)
Amaya pov:
My mum kisses my cheek as she links my arm through mine.
"My baby is all grown up now. I can't believe you're getting married," she smiles as I hug her.
"Mama, I'll always still be your daughter,"
"I know. Its just...its crazy how time flies. My sweet baby. I would say that Dexter should look after you but instead it's probably going to be him to needs saving from your grumpiness," she teases me as I huff.
"Gorgeous babbyy. I knew pink and gold would look stunning," Milly hugs me and is careful because of her growing baby bump.
Milly and Max ended up as future parents this year and Celean got married last year to his girlfriend.
Shit, now why the fuck am I getting all emotional now?
"I'm soo happy. We always wanted to get married and have babies together! Tell me when you're planning on getting pregnant and I'll jump on Max-"
"Milly!" I squealed and covered her mouth with my hand as my mum covered her amused smile with a cough.
"But seriously though, you look incredible,"
I self consciously do a double take in the mirror and smoothen my dress.
My dress hugs my body before doing a waist drop and flowing out on the ground. The gold and pink swirl around the dress in patterns as the veil neatly sits behind my hair.
The jewellery sparkles around me and I can't help admitting my bracelets.
Dexter brought me all my wedding jewellery especially after he qualified as a pro athlete.
Did I mention that?
He trained so hard and did so much physiotherapy that his leg is in a good condition to carry on.
Although, he does occasionally have to skip games and only if he goes to regular checkups that he can continue.
But now he has a huge salary all he does is spoil the shit outta all of us.
"Come on, Amaya. Time to walk down the isle" my dad says.
I hesitantly tug on my dress and trudge my way to the doors before biting the inside of my cheek, nervously.
Fucking hell. Is being this nervous on your wedding day normal?
The doors open and I see everyone stand as I slowly start to walk down the isle.
"Don't trip," Milly whispers behind me.
I hold back my smile and try to walk down the isle.
"Holy shit. The idiot is crying," Milly smothers her laugh as I sneak a look at Dexter.
Dexter wears a black suit with a massive pink flower on the pocket of his jacket and small pink flowers on the bottom of his sleeves to match with me. With a shiny black watch on his wrist to complete the look.
His hair is slicked back and I do have to say, he really does look devastatingly handsome here.
He scrubs his eyes on his sleeve as Luke lets out a mischievous smile showing dimples.
Same one as his father. Identical twins.
I smile as he takes my hands in his and stares at my face, trying not to cry even more.
"You're losing all your aura points, Greyson,"
"Shut up, Collins. Can't a man express his love to his wife,"
"Not just yet," I whisper to him.
"Even if we didn't marry, you'll be my wife anyways," he squeezes my hands as I smile.
For some strange reason I can't stop smiling today. I catch Lukes eye and wink at him as he gives me a thumbs up about my dress.
We take our vows and finally complete the ceremony.
"Do you, Dexter Greyson take Amaya to be your beloved wife?"
"I do," he smiles sheepishly and looks at me.
"Do you, Amaya Collins take Dexter to be your beloved husband,"
"I do," I wink at him as he grins proudly.
"Then by the power invested in me, you may kiss your bride,"
"Damn straight I will," he says, his dimples peeking out.
Before I can burst out laughing he hooks an arm around my waist and lifts me up the floor so I'm looking down at him. He kisses me softly as the whole hall erupts full of cheers.
I numbly hear Celean, Max and Milly screaming their heads off while Luke laughs.
"You're mine now, sweet cheeks," Dexter claims as he breaks away from the kiss.
"In your dreams, Greyson,"
"Not anymore. As soon as the wedding is done. I'm putting on a leather jacket on you and we're going straight to the hotel,"
"So I guess I'm yours in your leather dreams,"
"Yes, baby. Whatever you say. You're in my leather dreams,"
That made no sense but falling in love with him didn't either. It didn't matter because now...
Greyson was mine.
And I was his.
