It has been a week since the gang returned from the spirit world back to modern day Egypt. Yugi and Atem had their duel, but instead of leaving like it was fortold, Atem stayed behind in this world, to live with his new found friends and begin a new chapter in his life. The Ishtar's agreeed to assist in finding a way to seperate Atem's spirit and Yugi's body into their own forms that could be seen by everyone in this realm, so they were still in Egypt, not that any of them complained. The night of the spell was one that no one will forget. In the Great Pyramids, the Ishtar's preformed the spell and suddenly, in front of everyone, there were two 'Yugi's', one being Yugi and the other Atem. Atem took his time relishing in the new feelings he was experiencing and he got used to the feeling quickly, possibly from the short time he spent in his own body in the spirit world.
The next day the Ishtar's, Yugi, Atem, Tea, Joey and Tristan were invited to a gathering at the house of the President of Egypt. His youngest son was a big fan of Duel Monsters and insisted that all of them be there. The gang was totally unfamiliar with this type of party so Ishizu took Tea out to some stores while Marik and Odion helped out with all the guys. Joey decided on something nice but not incredibly classy, Tristan followed suit. Yugi decided on wearing something classy but casual and Atem kept up with his King like appearance by picking something extremely classy. Dress to impress right? Tea walked into the front hallway in a beautiful white dress causing everyone to stop to look. The guys had never really seen her like this before and it made them somewhat nervous.
The president had sent a car to drive them to the Abdeen Palace in Cairo. There were hundreds of people there and many of them already knew who the young teenagers were, which was made evident when people kept introducing themselves to Yugi, Atem and Joey. An unexcepted guest showed up as well.
"Kaiba!?" Yugi yelled when he saw his long time rival a few feet away from him. "What are you doing here?"
"I should be asking the geek squad the same question." He said, looking down at everyone.
"We got invited, rich boy!" Joey said.
"Joey, calm down. Don't get us kicked out." Tea whispered said quietly so only the few of them could hear what she was saying. Kaiba was almost shocked at the transformation that everyone had, especially Tea. He didn't think someone like her would be able to fit into an event like this no matter how hard she tried. Tea turned to Kaiba and asked, "Did you get invited by the President's son as well?"
"Yes, but I am here for a business reason." There was a slight pause before he said, "I don't see why I am telling you this."
"Seto Kaiba." A young male voice said and came into the picture of everyone at the party. "I thought you would never show." The man had a thick Arabic accent but his English was incredibly easy to understand. He shook Kaiba's hand and added, "Now we just have to wait for the last person then I can begin my announcement."
"If the person is this late I don't understand why you would wait for him." Kaiba said without his usual tone of arrogance.
"She is someone to wait for and you'll see why when she gets here." The young man turned to the gang and said, "Hello. My name is Gamal Mubarak, I'm the President's son that invited you here."
Atem immediately went and shook his hand. "It's an honour to meet you and I would like to thank you for inviting us. We had no idea someone with a father that had such an important role in the political system had an interest in Duel Monsters."
"No the pleasure is mine. You must be the spirit of the puzzle that Marik was speaking of, which means you must be Yugi, Joey, Tristan and Tea." He said, going around the group and looking at the person who corresponded with the name. "I never thought that I would be able to meet the past Pharaoh of this land."
