Shark Attack

Waking up with JJ will always be one of your favorite things. JJ was holding you impossibly close and your head was resting on his bare chest. The light from the window shined through and made you stir awake. You look to JJ who was peacefully sleeping. You started kissing his chest, and he mumbled a "Good morning my love."

It was mornings like these that made life worth it. JJ was your whole world. He showed you how much he loved you every day. "Good morning J," you responded. He smiled at you and your heart skipped a beat. JJ wanted to stay in bed with you all day cuddled up together. But he knew you both had planned to go surfing with the pogues.

Surfing was a fun activity you and your friends enjoyed. You weren't the best at it but you had a good teacher. You went surfing together all the time. This time was no different. You and the other pogues went down to the beach to hit some waves. Everyone unloaded their board from the van and got to it.

The beach was beautiful. It was the afternoon and the sun was shining down on the water. It looked like it was sparkling. The waves were some big swells perfect for surfing. You all paddled far out into the ocean ready to surf.

"So who gets the first wave?" John B calls out.

"I do!" JJ yelled as he started paddling towards the wave and then pushed himself up to stand. He rode the wave like a pro. He rode the wave all the way to shore.

The rest of the pogues started to catch their own waves. The water was refreshing. You felt the adrenaline in your veins. For your first wave of the day you tried your best but you only managed to stand up for about 3 seconds and then you fell off.

"Ugh!"

"It's okay baby you'll get the next one!" JJ yelled.

John B and Sarah were laughing, Pope and Kiara were paddling for the same wave. The six of you spent most of the afternoon surfing. It was really fun. You kept trying your best. You had a few good tries but you kept at it.

You started to paddle out to an upcoming wave. You pushed yourself up and started to ride the wave. You outstretched your hand and felt the water as you rode the wave.

"There she is!" JJ called out to you.

You twisted up and over the wave and jumped off your surfboard. After that you realized you were pretty far out into the ocean. The others were sitting on their boards a pretty good distance away from you. You were holding your board to keep you afloat but most of your body was in the water.

You felt your heart drop when you felt something brush past your leg. "Guys?!"

"Yeah?"

It happened in seconds. One second you were looking around in the water and the next you felt a sharp pain in your leg. You looked around and saw a shark fin circling you. "AHHHH!"

JJ herd your ear piercing scream and immediately started to swim over to you. He started to panic. "What? What happened?"

The water around you was red and this made you want to faint. You were also gonna pass out from the pain in your leg. JJ's heart sank when he saw the bloody water. He swam over to you as fast as he could. He was desperate trying to reach you, frantically trying to help whatever the problem was.

JJ finally reaches you after what felt like eternity. "I think something bit me!"

"John B swim to shore and call an ambulance now!" JJ yelled.

JJ hoisted you on to his surfboard. "Stay with me Y/N, you're going to be okay." You sat on his surfboard with your legs elevated. JJ saw your wound and his heart physically hurt.
