Chapter 14: Figuring Out

[ thomas's point of view ]

When I got home, I went up to my room.

My life has been a disaster ever since Erika visited. The jocks I sit with every lunch with Erika now, always tease me, oblivious that I actually didn't feel anything towards her.

"I bet Erika screamed so hard last night."

"Oh please, his dick is too tiny."

"Probably shorter than Mickey Mouse's."

Now Destiny's dating Stephan and I can't do anything about it. Well, it wasn't confirmed that they were dating but from the looks of their dinner and the movie, it looked like they were dating which broke my heart.

A tear rolls down my face as I go on my phone, finding a text from Erika.

I sighed and looked at it, an image attached to the message. It looked like a conversation she had with someone else on a social media thing I didn't have. I read her message.

Erika: Look at what this brat of a friend you had. You must be happy to dump her.

I scrunched up my nose in confusion and looked at the image. The account user at the top said "destiny.remms" and my eyes widened as I saw a video in the beginning of the chat, and read her replies, laughing at her insults toward ekchicasxo.

Anger grew in me as I saw Erika had sent her the video in attempt to make Destiny jealous. I started typing ferociously, happy that autocorrect corrected all my mistakes.

Me: bloody hell! why would you send her the video? we had a deal, didn't we blockhead?

In less than a second, Erika was typing.

Erika: it was a good idea since I've seen how close she was with the new guy :) that means it's a lesser chance of you ever getting back with her, and all she'll see you as is my boyfriend, my lover, and her betrayer.

Me: you're a bitch.

Erika: it's my number one skill :'')

Me: you shouldn't be happy about having a number one skill that's being a bitch.

Erika: it's in my family livetime. my mom was on, her mom was on, and so on.

Me: first of all one***, second lifetime***

Erika: typos smh I'm going to strangle my fingers for typing typos so much.

Me: you sure it's just your low quality knowledge? because I'm pretty sure from what I've read, your brain is tinier than an ant.

Erika: you're so rude😤

Me: it's your second best skill. didn't you know, you have a short remembrance span, that's you're third speciality.
