I woke up by rubbing my hand over the cold empty space in my bed.

Fuck, don't tell me I dreamt this boy up..

"No, darling. I'm very real. Take a look at the claw marks on your chest and back." He said in a whisper in my head.

I looked down and my chest had many marks all over. It didn't hurt.

"Oliver, where are you?" I said in my head.

"Come to the dinning room. I made you breakfast. "

I pulled on a pair if stripped boxers and crept my way down the hall way.

There he was sitting at the table, reading the news paper, with one of my white button ups on.

He looked at me and smiled.

"Good morning. "
He gave me His famous toothy grin.

I sat across from him, He got up and sat in my lap. "Good morning." I whispered in his ear. I felt his hips digging into my stomach.

"I have to leave tonight. " He looked at me, pouting.

"But I thought you said next week." I said with my head down.

With his index finger He lifted my chin up.

"Father is getting very impatient with me." He hugged me like he didn't wanna let go.

I reached around him and grabbed my coffee.

It tasted like hazel nut. "Okay. I guess." He kissed below my ear and I set the mug back down.

"Listen, time moves very slowly there. I'm not sure what our time converts to up here. "

I rubbed my temples and held him to me.

"This is gonna be rough, baby." He rubbed circles in my back.

That night after dinner we waited in front of the mirror.

9:56 p.m.

He tried cheering me up.

"Austin, I'll bring back some of my books I have. " I nodded. Keeping my hands on his hips and his back pressed against me.

I turned him around to face me,
And kissed his forehead, his temple, his cheek down to his collar bones.
"I love you." I whispered against his skin.

"I love you too." He stroked my hair

9:58 p.m.

"It's time for me to go now. "

He turned back to the mirror.
He pricked his finger and drew a circle in his blackish blood.

The portal opened.

He looked back at me, and winked.

Just like that he was gone as quick as he came.

I picked up his favorite shirt he left behind and crawled into bed.
I kept my eyes on the empty space on the bed. Waiting for him to maybe come home. I'd missed him already.

That night I flipped through all the pictures of him on my phone.

I picked up the journal I kept.

And flipped through it. I fell asleep reading.

Hell is real, I kissed him.Where stories live. Discover now
