Title credit:
Memphis May fire.Oliver wore a long white gown. It covered everything. From his neck down.
His lips were swollen, and chapped.
I had on a black version of his gown.
The small elderly preacher had such a quiet voice only Oliver could hear him.
Oliver just nodded, reciting his vows.
"We have a deep connection, deeper than the oceans. He took care of me. Showed me what it was like to be... Happy again. The life radiates off of his skin. He has showed me that kindness is real, Love is real. I will Devote my life to him and our child and live for our eternity bound as one." He bowed to me.I cleared my throat.
"Oliver's unquestionable loyalty to his family and i has made it so easy for me to choose him as a life partner, a husband, and an eternal best friend. I will be at his side for everything. I will protect him as he has for me. He is my king. I will show him the love he deserves."Oliver's father placed the rings on our fingers. As he did, our lips connected. The kiss was different, more love in the mix. Oliver nearly swallowed my lip.
The smell bearers entered with large polls dangling with metal balls chained to them, smoking. Giving off a potent rotting smell. My head was getting heavy. I couldn't take it, my body gave out.
Oliver said something about tradition involving the Smell, it was making me a little light headed.
My eyes closed. Everything went dark and sound ceased.
-Oliver
My father was nervously putting the ring on. He had tears leaving every corner of his eyes.
He changed the bonding spell.
Trembling a bit. A odd smell went through the atrium. Pungent and smelled like a strong lavender. And vanilla . Austin fainted and I looked to my father. He was still chanting and a large metal, smoking inscent ball was hung from a tall metal staff. This must've been what they were talking about in the tradition books. My father's butler's were holding the inscents. Its not really road kill, just mixture of flowers. At every demon wedding they have those. They say if the smell is bad the marriage will last, but if it smells good the marriage will be short and insincere. Austin wasn't handling the Smell very well.My brothers carried him to the carriage.
I held him in my arms and caressed his hair. My Mother put a hand on my shoulder and smiled.
"You two are now married, my darling."I smiled to her and hugged my husband to my chest.
...................
Leaving for the honeymoon, It set in. It was setting In that I we marrying the man of my dreams. Austin was awake now. And kept kissing my shoulder."I love you, until my lungs burn I will always tell you that, my darling."
His voice was deep and thick. Like honey. The drive was very long, nearly four hours.
We arrived at the resort. My brothers insisted on joining us. I didn't mind, but at least I get some time alone with him. They won't be here until tomorrow.-Austin-
I carried him in, my cheesy grin gave away that we were newlyweds. As we made it to our room He was getting handsy. Nipping at my neck. Whispering in my ear.I got him inside. A lovely room sat before us. The bed looked so tempting. He wiggled from my grasp.
He jumped in bed and almost instantly he fell asleep on contact.
I smiled and I kissed his head. I pulled the covers around his body I layed down.
"A little underworld cable would be nice." I laughed to myself.I turned it on and as soon as I did I felt so tired. Episodes of Steven Universe flashed by. So exhausted. My eyes felt like 1000 pound weights were on them. Before I could succumb to sleep I took off my gown and rejoined Oliver in the soft bed.
As he nestled his head in the crooked of my neck, the smell of his vanilla skin put me to sleep faster than anything.
.
.
.I felt like I slept for days when I woke up. It was the best sleep I'd ever had.
Oliver was still asleep. He was out of his gown and wrapped around me. I ordered some brunch to be sent up here. While I waited I woke Oliver up. He stretched and his eyes were a new colour. They were a white or a silver. He rubbed his belly. "Man, are we rested or what." He had a sleepy voice.
I kissed his head. "What do you want to do today?" I snuggled in his neck.
"Hm, maybe go swimming. Baby should like it." I tapped his protruding belly button. He looked about three months pregnant.
Oliver got dressed into a swimsuit, but one that covered nearly all the skin from below his neck.
I held his hand as we left for the pool.
I seen monsters and creatures that scared me when I was little. Things I didn't know really existed. But I wasn't afraid anymore. I'd seen so much these past few months with Oliver... I'd become so much. I was no longer a human. But we passed a mirror, I too was a monster. I didn't mind. I wasn't scared. I was happy. Am happy. Here, beside them. My baby and my husband.
We made it to the pool and he dove in.
The water was clear and his body shot through like a bullet. Their was a table right next to the pool.

When we returned to the hotel room there was a note on the door. Oliver took it off and we went inside. The envelope had our names on it. Oliver tore into the letter and read aloud
"My dearest Oliver and Austin, Please accept this invitation to dinner tonight at the Grand Emperor ball room, tonight.
A gown and suit has been left on the bed for you to wear. Please don't be late,
-A(Abba)"
Oliver sat on the bed and looked extremely uneasy. He played with the elegant peachy pink silk dress on the bed.
"Who could this be, Austin?"
He wondered.I shrugged "Babe, it could be Alucard. "
Oliver just nodded and stripped his bathing suit off.
About five o'clock hit and they headed to the ball room, Oliver with Austin and invitation in hand.
