The Beauty and the Beast

The sweet scent of blood was intoxicating for Jaebum and the amount of exposed skin made it hard for him to resist the temptation of just letting his guard down and suck the thick liquid out of everyone in  this room. But then again, he decided to go that club and so he took all his willpower together and resisted the tingling sensation in his nose. He was surrounded by a lot of sweaty dancing bodies but since he was sweating too, he didn't care. Dancing was his passion and the only reason to go to such a place where his mask could fall off very easily. He wasn't alone there, two of his friends, Mark and Jackson, went with him to enjoy themselves too.
After a small dance battle between him and his friends the DJ decided to ruin the mood and started playing a slower song. Jaebum threw him a glance but the DJ just shrugged. So he made his way towards the bar. After ordering his usual drink, he took a moment to scan the room. His nose was still tingling and the thought of finding a victim slowly crept into the front of his mind. He wouldn't be able to resist much longer.
Then, on the other side of the bar, back facing toward him, he noticed someone. She was elegantly sitting on the small bar chair, one leg over the other. Her dress was fitting her small body just right and her long hair was falling over her back and her shoulders. She wasn't talking to anyone so he decided to go for it.

Another exhausting day of work was finally over after you left the huge building of your company and with a sigh of contentment you made your way home. You were going out with some friends tonight, just having some fun a club your best friend recommended and so some hours later you found yourself already among the crowd dancing. She was right, this club was in fact really nice. "I'm going to get something to drink" Since your friend was really close to you she understood even with the loud music playing. You almost had to fight your way to the bar because the dance floor was really packed. You then ordered something light, you didn't want to get wasted tonight instead you just wanted to enjoy yourself. Sipping on the drink, you scanned the dancing people for your friends. It seemed to be impossible to find them among the huge crowd but you quickly set your eyes on them.
"Do you believe in supernatural creatures?" You suddenly heard someone say from behind you. Not knowing if it was addressed to you, you turned around.
Jaebum wanted to fool a little around with his victim but as he saw her face he instantly regretted what he had just said. "I'm just kidding" He quickly said and hoped she would not think he was crazy. She was beautiful , too beautiful to just be his prey. "Are you alone here?" He then changed the topic.
"No, I'm with some friends. How about you?" The man seemed to be really pale, or it was just the bad lighting of the club but other than that he was really handsome. His dark hair partly covering his small eyes and beautifully heart shaped lips, you had to stop staring at him. Something about him felt weird though but you couldn't figure what it was. He told you that he was with some friends too but before you could carry on this conversation your best friend was running towards you. Her face already signalized that something was wrong. Instead of telling you right there what it was, she dragged you towards the restrooms. You just waved back at the handsome guy.

Without doing much she grabbed Jaebum's attention but he didn't get the chance of getting to know her better. His eyes followed her body until she disappeared behind a door. Should he go after her? He decided to not go but instead, he waited at the bar. Maybe, she would come back.
"What's the matter Ami?" You asked her confused after she released your wrist but your friend just kept on walking into the girls' restroom. You followed her and in there, you saw the reason for her strange acting. Over one of the toilets another one of your friends was sitting, vomiting. That was also a reason for you to not get wasted. With a sigh you made your way over to her and held her hair back. Ami was patting her back and tried to console her.
"Who was that guy you were talking to?" Ami suddenly asked as you were trying to clean your friends' clothes. "I don't know, we didn't talk much until you came around. He seems interesting though" You replied and tried to remember every detail of his handsome face. "Maybe you'll see him again once we're done here" You knew that she felt bad but it was not her fault. "I'm sorry ok..." Your sick friend exclaimed from another corner of the bathroom. Ami and you started laughing. "This happens to everyone sooner or later, nothing to be sorry for" You tried to make her feel better.
"We should probably get her home" Ami stated after you dried up the clothes. You nodded. "I'll -" You wanted to say that you would bring her home but Ami immediately interrupted you. "No, you'll stay and find that handsome stranger again and I'll take her home" You knew that discussing with your best friend was pointless so you let her go.
After you bid your goodbyes you entered the club all alone again. It felt even huger now and also a little intimidating. You made your way over to the bar again and to your surprise the guy was still there.
