Rei's Pov

I stand by the window as I looked outside. I heard the door to my room open. "Mom?" An voice said. I turned around to see my daughter Fuyumi. "Fuyumi is it time for your visit already?" I asked as I give her a gentle smile. Fuyumi moved closer to me. "Yeah Mom it's Wednesday so what do you want to do today?" Fuyumi asked. "Well do you have any new photos you want to show me?" I asked as I usually do everytime Fuyumi visits. "Of course!" Fuyumi said happily as she gets out her phone to her photos. We sit on my bed together to look and talk about the photos.

After 2 hours

"I have to use the bathroom real quick if you continue to swipe left you can see photos of the art my students did today." Fuyumi said handing me her phone as she heads to the door to go down the hall to the bathroom. I continue to look at the photos. Until Fuyumi's phone suddenly got a notification. I tried to swipe it off but I accidentally clicked on it. It opened up to a news app. It's been so long since I seen anything about what's going on outside the facility. So I decided to take a quick look. It seem someone got an photo of a major villain who is apart of an major villain group called the League Of Villains. I looked at the photo and freeze. I take a closer look as the photo as I zoomed in on his eyes. 'It's Touya...' I think to myself I know my son anywhere. I heard footsteps coming closer I quickly close out of the news app and got back to the photos.

The rest of Fuyumi's visit went normal until I was left alone again. I continued to think about Touya until it got dark out. 'I have to go find him.' I think to myself.

I don't remember how I got out of the facility it was a blur. I continued running my mind somewhere else.

Beginning of Flashback

Touya was 14 years old. It was very late at night. The usual time we have these types of talks. We are sitting under the tree in the garden together. "Touya you're entering high school soon have you decided which school want to go to?" I asked him quietly. "I want to go to UA." Touya said quietly back. I hold his hands in mine. "I support you in your decision you know I always will. I love you." I said quietly as I lift are our entwined hands to kiss the top of his slightly scarred hand. "I know Mom and I love you too." Touya said back quietly. We sit in silence for a while before Touya spoke again. "I know Father doesn't...love us. But you know I have to tell him about my decision to go to UA. I-If anything happens to me. C-can you promise me to look out for the others. Don't let him hurt them anymore. Fuyumi may act all grown up but she's just 11 years old. She needs to be a kid too. Natsuo is 9 years old he needs to have friends his own age. Shoto is only 6 years old he shouldn't be training he should be playing with his siblings." Touya said quietly. I let go of his hands to wrap him up in a hug. He hugs me back tightly. "I promise." I said quietly. We continued hugging until I spoke again. "I also promise to never let Him hurt you again." I whispered into his ear. "I will meet him tomorrow night at Sekoto Peak just incase." Touya whispered back.

The next day

After I checked on Shoto, Fuyumi, and Natsuo to make sure they were all asleep. I went to Touya's room to see he already left. I quickly checked the house for Enji to find he is also gone. I quickly make my way to Sekoto Peak. I'm half way up the mountain when I heard shouting. "YOU WILL NEVER BE A HERO EVEN IF YOU DIE TRYING!!" I recognized Enji's voiced. I tried to go fast up the mountain when I heard Touya scream. "I HATE YOU!!" Suddenly the mountain shake as I see blue and orange flames explode out against each other. I quicken my pace up the mountain. All the sudden the flames stopped. I run fast up the mountain until I run into something. I looked up to see Enji his face was unreadable. I run past him. "TOUYA!!" I yelled out. I finally get to the cave entrance. But all that was left was scorch marks and ashes. My legs gave out as I drop to my knees. I cried as I grabbed at the ashes. "Tou-Touya my baby what did he do to you?!" I wailed as tears fell from my eyes. "I f-failed you...I broke my promise..." I whispered as I cried to myself.
