Holiday stress (yes, chapter)

Heyo! Sorry for being so unresponsive! I've been neglecting my meds (because they kept giving me migraines) so I had a lot of missing work- because it's finals next week for me I've kinda been panicking.... But!!! I just got done with a bunch of missing work (which should bring me up to B's in the classes I'm not able to pass finals on [had a panic attack when I saw an F then just realized it was one assignment I had to finish, which I was almost done with anyway and got sidetracked with so I got that in]) and I'm finally relaxed enough for my brain to get working! 

I'm gonna try to fit as many ships in as possible, as well as some family fluff and shit, idk- Most of it may seem pretty formal because I've been working on an actual book so apologies if it is impossible to read. Anyway, multiship, go!

Some stupid traditions, toons only come around when its their holiday, but this is the first year that every toon is around. Bassie is talking to cocoa and ginger, and soulvester is talking to bobbette. Toodles ran around with gourdy, playing dress up in tinsil as they run away with glisten's make up. Dandy watched as everyone hung out together, but something about this just didn't seem right. It seemed like there was too many people, and he couldn't keep up. He raised his glass and cleared his throat, preparing for a toast

"Toons of garden veiw! This is the first year we break the rules! With the place shut down but still somehow running thanks to us, we have been able to thrive. And me, personally, I think we should throw a big Christmas party! Secret santa! Christmas dinner! Caroling! Whatever we desire! In fact, I'll pick leaders for each group to set up, and we can all work together! Sprout and cosmo, you're in charge of the cooking and baking group, I trust you both with getting a good team to make and plan an amazing dinner! Circus trio and Rudie, I trust you guys with decor! Bobbette, Astro, and brusha, you run secret santa! For a little white elephant game, Rodger, teagan, and eggson are in charge. And uhhh... Rest of you help out where you can! Oh- glisten and finn, you guys watch the littles!" He spoke, and everyone got to work, except for glisten, who sat there stuttering for a second before yelling "fuck you! Why put me with fish face!?" Before storming off, or sashaying off, whatever the fuck he does honestly.

Dandy got to work preparing presents, and murmurs buzzed about gardenveiw. Shelly and bassie were helping with white elephant, Vee looking up what white elephant even is, trying to be helpful as she tinkered with a circuit board. Eventually vee went off to go do something, and bassie scooter closer to shelly. 

"Its been a while, huh? Where did the others go?" Bassie spoke up, wondering where Rodger and eggs on went, already knowing teagan was probably off talking to tisha about something.

"It has. Though It's not too bad. Teagan is very picky..." Shells spoke, glancing over and seeing bassie's hands shaking. "Hey... You good..?"

"Yeah... It's been a while since I wrote anything. Teagan insisted I used my right hand too..." Bassie mumbled.

"You're left handed?"

"Yup."

"Nice."

Sprout and Cosmo were talking about plans and prep, cocoa listened very intensely, and Connie was actually shut up for once. They had it all ready, and got started with prep quick enough.

Yatta climb a ledge above a door, hanging up lights.

"!luferac" Blot says, married she may fall, since the thing was pretty unstable. Bloody was with rudie, listening to his advice as he hung up decorations on the walls.

"No no! You got it all wrong! The pattern is what makes it so nice!" Rudie says, walking over and guiding looey's hand to stick a snowflake of the wall. Looey blushed, trying not to freak out.

Bobbette ignored the sounds of brusha and fish a arguing, writing down names and putting them in a hat as brusha painted boxes of all sizes for deceit gifts.

"You'll get paint everywhere! Lay down a tarp!"

"I've been painting my whole life, it isn't that hard to clean if I get a couple drops on the floor"

"..."

"ITS FUCKING CARPET!!!!"

Glisten let toodles do his makeup as gourdy dressed Finn up in a silly outfit. Vee was nearby, since they were in the library, getting help from brightney to install whatever chip she had been tinkering on and fix a couple LEDs that made her light up.

Dandy went around routinely, checking on everyone and making sure things were going well.

So far, so good.

Short chapter I know, but my meds wore off partially and now my head is hurting (not to mention its 1 am on a school night, and I so desperately need to stop falling asleep in class) so I'll do part two on.... Urmm... Friday. Yup.
