***Kathy's P.O.V.***

I feel pressure on my hand and I sit up instantly. I see her, smiling at me and I return one myself. "You're awake," I state, not believing the sight in front of me. Jerome runs out to get a nurse as Alyssa and I stare at each other. "I'm so sorry," we say simultaneously. "No, you have nothing to be sorry for. I should have found you earlier. If I would have just remembered sooner, we could have avoided all of this. I'm so sorry Aly," I say weakly, a fresh batch of tears welling in my eyes.

"It's fine Kitty, really. None of this is your fault. We got our phones synched so long ago, no one could remember so fast. Don't beat yourself up for this," she reassures me. This is my favorite part about her. She always tries her hardest to make others feel better about themselves, making sure that nobody else gets hurt or feels bad. "If we really wanna talk about blame then the blames on me for ever going out with that D-bag," she snickers.

When Mitch tries to get her attention, she rolls her eyes and snaps "What?" to him, but I can tell that she's more hurt than angry. I just don't know why. He looks taken aback for a split second but it's wiped with grief in a flash. "Alyssa, I'm so so sorry we didn't find you earlier. I don't know what I'd do with out you. Baby-"

"Don't call me that," she cuts him off. A confused look is painted on his face. He stares at me with his eyebrows raised, asking what to do. I shrug my shoulders unsure why she's so angry at him.

"Oh don't act like you don't know. I know what you said to Maki." Sudden realization washes over Mitch's face.

"Alyssa.... All of that was just for her to trust ne enough to let me in. I needed to get into her house, I promise. All of it was just part of the plan to rescue you. I swear none of it was real. You are the only person I Love. Please baby girl."

Alyssa looked hesitant, but I knew. I mean this was Mitch, the BajanCanadian, the guy she went crazy for since she watched his first video.

"I don't know Mitch," she whispers.
"Please, I can't lose you. I could never live without you."

She wraps her arms around him and mumbles something that I can't hear, and he holds her tightly to him. In that moment, Jerome walks back in with a nurse and doctor. "Well," begins the doc, "your recovery was much swifter than we thought it would be. However, you still are going to have to stay here for a minimal two days. After that, we're going to need to talk to your parents or guardians about therapy." Alyssa looks frightened. "Oh my gosh, my parents!" she exclaims. "Are they okay?! Wait. Aren't they supposed to be here?!"

"Aly, your parents are fine. All of it was just a scheme; they were never hurt," I explain to her what the police had told Jerome and I. Her breathing goes from rapid to even. She reaches to the bedside table for her phone and immediately dials her mom's number. "Wait!" I exclaim, "Well, see the thing is...-" I'm cut off by two figures entering the room.

"Mom?! Dad?!"
