Hi, This is the author speaking.

Unfortunately, I will not continue this series anymore.

I'm so happy that this Wattpad story that I created years ago reached so much attention, more than I can imagine. Since, this story resembled the state of my mental health during the pandemic times.

I have a problem with dealing loneliness. Being alone, is simply painful. Because it would give a few moments with only me and my thoughts. That's how I started with maladaptive daydreaming, hallucinating, and depression (this is self diagnosed).

When I had to walk outside my room, I had to lower my head hoping no one would notice me and leave me alone. I would often see people get dismembered (my mind playing tricks with me) and just distract myself with daydreaming. In those years of pandemic, majority of that time was spent in my mind enjoying the feeling of multiple people beside me and liking the other me.

Because of that, I developed four people (like main characters) in my mind, including me. Each person took a piece of my personality. So when I would start crashing out from being lonely again, they would comfort me. But they would also start making fun of me being this way. That I started thinking of them as demons who would grant my wish if I would do something that satisfies them.

The  four people represented Yuo and Yu.

The characters in my daydreams was the "main characters". I forgot their names lol.

The male lead, was kinda my type so yea lol.

Then Seo-yeon, represented me.

The ending was supposed to reveal everything was a dream, created by Seo-yeon whose name was actually Mitsuki Kirisaki. A very sick girl who was in a coma holding on by a thread. Everything was a coping mechanism for her approaching death.

Her past was about having a happy family, whenever they went outside they would often bring files about her so whenever she would have a episode, they would be able to offer it to the doctors.

One day, Mitsuki went to the playground like always. Then, there she saw a boy (he looks similar to the "male lead") and since then, she would visit to the playground to play with that boy.

"You said your super sick right?"

"Yeah, but don't worry, I won't leave you behind!"

"How are you sure? I..."

In this timeline, they are only 10 years old. They made a promise to meet in the same playground, and if ever, she died early her parents would deliver him a letter. So that, he will never worry about being left alone.

On the way home, unfortunately,  a speeding car crashed towards them, causing a huge explosion. But luckily, Mitsuki somehow managed to survive. In return, she had burn scars over her and her files about her existence was engulfed in flames.

What was supposed to be sick yet happy little girl became a terribly sick orphan with a disgusting appearance with a similarities of a little girl.

She was hospitalized right away. The reason she was able to stay in the hospital was because of an old man who had money to spare and pitied the little girl. They never talked, the little girl didn't even know the old man's appearance. The old man was known for spending huge amount of money towards the pitiful victims in the hospital.

During her time in the hospital, she worried about the little boy and made letter everytime she thought of him. Years goes by, and her once short auburn brown hair slowly turned into pale snow white, a sign of her sickness growing.

On the other hand, the boy always visited the playground.

Waiting and waiting.

Because he knew, she would never break her promise. More years go by and the playground was destroyed and expanded. It turned into a gardenlike park where people come and go. The man would sit at the bench, waiting.
