I was frozen in my place. There he was, the elf that I was in love with. Legolas saw me at once and his face showed that he recognised me but he walked over Elrond. I got and said gently
"I must leave." I walked out of the room and to the library. I wanted to stay away from Legolas for the time being. I pushed opened the door and saw that Lindir, our household manger, was reading. ~See media section for a
picture of Lindir~
"Do you not have work, Lindir?" I asked. He looked up from his book and smiled.
"No Lady Vilya. I have until lunchtime off." I returned his pleasant smile and walked up to the bookcase. Lindir was watching me as I ran my finger tips along the spines of the books.
"May I suggest a book, my lady?" I nodded and turned to Lindir. He got up and put the book on the table and walked over and pulled a book off the shelve.
"This is the history of The Ring. You might like to read this, my lady." I took the book off him and replied
"Thank you Lindir." I sat down by the open window and opened the book. I was lost in the pages.

When I did look up from the page, I saw that Lindir had left and there was some bread and veggies on the table. I picked up the plate and sat back at the window. Lindir always looked after me. I was very grateful for that.

Later Elladan poked his head around the door and asked
"Sword fight?" I jumped up at once and put my book on the table. I grinned at him and ran out after him. I raced into my room and grabbed my sword off the hook and ran back out into the training grounds. Elladan was waiting for me.
"You can't fight in that dress." I looked down at the deep blue dress. I unbuttoned the back and stepped out of the dress. Now I was in the black under gown which was shorter and thinner. I picked up the dress and threw it onto a bush. I pulled my sword out of its sheath and threw the sheath over near my dress. Elladan grinned and said
"That was quick."
"I like to improvise." He grinned and drew his sword. The he charged at me. I lightly leaped to the side and he quickly swung his sword at me. I blocked it and the sound of metal against metal rang in my ears. He jumped at me and I pared quickly. Then he came up from behind me and lifted his sword to cut into my head. I didn't move and as his sword came down, my hand with the sword blocked the attack from behind. I still hadn't moved. But Elladan was putting a lot of weight onto my hand. So I quickly flung his sword up, turning around at the same time. I heard a gasp. I turned to the sound of the noise. Elladan kicked my legs from under me and placed the sword at my throat.
"Yield!" He said with a smuggle smile. I wish that Elladan would remember that I don't yield. I play to win.
"I don't think so." I swung my sword at his legs, which he had to block. So his sword left my throat and I quickly did a backflip back to my feet. I caught him by surprise. He swung his sword at me. I caught the sword with mine. Then I made sure he pulled his sword. Putting weight behind my sword then I did a circling motion. The sword went spinning at of Elladan's hand and into the bushes. My sword was at his chest in a second.
"If I was you, I would yield." Elladan sighed and his hands went above his head.
"I guess I won." I said. Elladan just groaned and was rubbing his wrist. Then I saw Legolas was watching us. I felt colour coming to my cheeks. I wasn't in my dress and the dress was really thin. Then I saw Uncle Aragorn and Arwen walking towards us. Arwen took one look at me and I knew I was in trouble.
"Vilya, where is your dress?" I pointed to the bushes.
"I can't fight in that." I said. Arwen frowned, grabbed my dress and my arms and pulled me to the house. I would like to add that all of that was in front of Legolas.
